I CRASHED MY LEGEND!
Some chick hit me on the highway while on my way home from school today! This shit sucks I need some idea's of what I should do help me out. Heres the deal:
Estimate is 2400 for damages at a good body shop "Zimbrick". The car is in pretty good condition. "well it was" A. Fix it at Zimbrick for 2400. B. get a check for 2400 and sell the car as is. C. get the check fix it myself and sell it or keep it. D. find a different body shop to do it for less. any ideas would be great or a different option if you think of one. Any parts might be helpful from ya'll let me know what you think. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thank god I am okay and the other driver is okay. I guess material things like cars are fixable but man if I hit the median or have other cars slam into me behind I would probably be dead right now going 65 MPH you never know what can happen. So I am counting my blessings.

Her insurance is going to fix it. But I will have the option to keep the money and fix it myself or take it elsewhere. This is the most expensive body shop in town. So I could make money off this, except it might not be done to the best quality as I would like somewhere else.

Man, poor JDMs. If I were you I'd get it repaired and keep her. Why let a good thing go over a bumper and some headlights. What about insurance?

Her insurance is covering everything as far as i know so far. She got a ticket and was pronounced at fault and has a dependable insurance company so everything will be taken care of in that dept.

captain is that the only thing wrong with the car? your front bumper is messed up and you have cracked headlights? what all is the cost of 2400??? Bumper new from Acura roughtly $400 and JDMs roughtly $300 those are high estimates. if that is all that is wrong with the car fix that shit and pocket the rest of the money.

Kyle,
Wow! Sorry to hear about the wreck, man. Not sure what to do here. I had a less serious ding on my passenger front quarter a few years ago and it was repaired (new fender and headlight, USDM) for $2K. I'd say the estimate is pretty good assuming you're getting a new hood in the deal. All that being said, I love your sedan and would hate to see you make a change ... especially away from Legends. Anyway, it's a tough decision as you could probably sell it for $3K as is (hopeful) or part it out (a lot of time) and have some $$ for a nice coupe. Best of luck and hope if works out.

The hood and fender need to be rapaired also. I have USDM headlights so thats not a problem. The bumper itself is smashed in and hopefully the frame is ok It looks a lot worse in person than on camera.

sorry to see that yo man i think you should fix it by your self and keep it. if you are patien enough go through junk yard and you may lucky end up with a used hood or fender or bumber or all of that stuff that are same color, year and same body style. My brother car hit a dear before and the hood is all F up and he went to Flushing in New York and get his hood for $150 that are same year and same color. wow no need for body shop to paint them. your hood ain't look that bad man you could used a towel and a fyler then start to bend then back out then it will be barely seen. JDM head light you could find used part and you are good to roll out again man. I think it should cost you around $1300-1500 but if you have alot money to burn then bring it to the body shop so it can get done by a proffessional.

Man...Alex.........why would post a pic like that?
![]() Damn Kyle, this SUX!!!!! I loved your car. Is there a slice in your front tire from the damage? Personally, I would take the check and look at other body shops. But then again, do you have another car to drive for the moment?
