I'm convinced the console found its way to a more loving owner You're taking good care of it and its shining brightly as always!
Damn. For my shoots I always have a location planned and do the whole 9 yards. I don't know that I'm more loving but I'm very glad you saved me the retrofitting troubles. I may have had to buy an entire spare console to complete everything, but I'm bad at getting creative. It took me six whole months to figure out how to correctly wire the LCD so I didn't get he feedback problem.

No, I saw it. But blue denotes sarcasm... no heat in the dead of winter WILL get you sick... theres nothing sarcastic about that.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

did any one find a solution for the parking brakes yet? the console i got was for an automatic and i own a manual, there's like a 1-2 inch gap difference in the shifter. any one know if there was ever a jdm navi console for a manual tranny? i dont think i can even start my project unless i find an alternative for the parking brakes, i'm gonna look for some kinda foot pedal parking brake and try to some how make it work (haha i'm gonna have four pedals if it work), if not i'm gonna have to cut a hole in the console ( ouch ), damn !!! i want the jdm one in there so bad, especially when i keep on looking at the picture of shaar's.

1- cup holder (tired of spilling drinks into my center compartment)
2- extra outlet in the back (so wont look messy and cluttering the shifter when charging my phone)
3- want the screen on top ( people's hand always in the way of shifting using the navi)
4- want to install an EQ but no room

those are my only reasons to do the jdm swap, okay... and also it looks more stylish haha okay 5 reasons

MANUAL LEGENDS DO NOT EXIST IN JAPAN, THEY WERE NEVER MADE.

That being said, there is no JDM console or JDM navi console that was made or meant for a a manual Legend. A pedal brake definitely wont work with a clutch either. I would have never recommended buying this for someone with a manual transmission. Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, Good Luck.

Despite my best efforts, there is still no solution for parking brake. As sweet as it would be to have a JDM console installed in a manual car, manual legends weren't offered in any form in Japan. Blingting is looking into an electronic brake actuator which would actually solve the problem for both of us, but that will likely be expensive and difficult to install. Until someone figures it out, I'd hold off doing it if I were you.

hmm... electronic actuator huh, i could see that working. i should hold off for a while before i decide to cut the console. there's a bunch of other stuff i can work on like lights and audio. thanks for the heads-up, saved me the feeling of regret. the more i think about it the actuator thing sounds really good the parking break switch can be custom flush where there is a gap in the shifter (no cutting wood) you guys are geniuses
