how does the headunit look more out of place than ever? i didn't change anything....? and i dont want to do red led's anymore. i'm still working with the lighting but def not back to red again.
also, the mcintosh is a nice idea, but my headunit is a dvd headunit. also plays mp3s and shows info on the screen. completely useful. the whole reason i did this swap, to get a screen up top and get more wood grain...

Don't get me wrong, I'm amazed by the job you did, just don't like the headunit.

Amazing, Steve!
![]() I can see what you were talking about with the LED swap-over. Looks like the console came together nicely; that's some ingenuity at work. Can't wait to see it all in a week. BTW what happened to your memory seat buttons?! |

Just in time for NLARLM!!
Steve - looks amazing. I looked at the pictures of the red LEDs and you definitely make the right choice by going green. It all looks awesome and ties in together well. I guess you'll be watching a movie on your drive down to Tulsa
Great job buddy! Can't wait to see all your hard work - 8 more days!!later, Pasha. |

my memory seat buttons are on my desk right in front of me... i was swapping bulbs over to get it back to green.
i knew someone would say something about it, i was waiting ![]() Also about the headunit, i can't find another headunit that does everything that looks any better than this pioneer that i've got. alpine makes one i believe, but its all grey with blue and white lighting and would stick out even more... and theres a few others like panasonic i believe that don't have the support for media that this one does. I did do my research and couldnt find anything better than this one Also, pasha, the remote for this headunit was lost loooong ago, so i can't control dvd menus to hit play or anything... sucks i know i will probably burn off a video cd of something where it automatically starts playing without a menu... and i still have to worry right now about a harness problem that this headunit is infamous for.. the contacts on the AV harness get weak really really fast and i lose video feed randomly. ![]()
