JDM Window Visors.

After having cleaned and polished them, I finally got the chance to install them about a month ago. I took pictures yesterday before our hike...

The installation was a pain. I never thought something so simple would turn out to be so complicated. Even after bruising my fingers, I still could not manage to get the window to properly close snuggly in the rubber molding on the top. Thus, I hear wind noise above 50 MPH.

Nevertheless, the look and feel they add to the Coupe are well worth it. They also became very handy during the heavy rains endured in the Bay Area these past couple of weeks.

Oh, and I got bit by the JDM bug real bad...

So far, I have the following things pending, which will be installed sometime before the West Coast Meet this year:

JDM Folding Mirrors
JDM Cornering Lights
JDM Alpha Touring Grill
Honda Center Caps
Honda Emblems (thanks to lgnd!!!)

You got it bad. And you should have made this thread yesterday before that set of JDM coupe door sills ended. I would have tipped you off. They were unusually cheap for the condition they were in. By the way, power folding mirrors are a pain in the ass. You need to completely disassemble both the USDM and JDM mirrors and you need to cut through the JDM mirror frame. The mirrors I got had screws stuck in place too. Real PITA. I gave up. Good luck though.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

I already have the JDM Door Sills.

I believe the mirrors that I got from Don are direct plug and play with all of that done, if not I'll look into that. Thanks!

Thumbs up

The JDM Door Sills look great on your Coupe. I can't wait to see your Legend Coupe once you have completed your JDM MODS.

Sergio, one thing i found out about the window visors is this, when you take off the black thing on the side of the door (flat side of the window) leave the top screw slightly loose. I had the same problem. Also, make sure your window rubber window liner is completely reinstalled, otherwise the visors will fall off. Just a warning though, it will kill your finger tips!

^^^Joey, his look like the kind without the screws. remember how we figured out there were two different kinds of visors.

anyways, installation of those fckers was the most horrific thing ever, I had to sell mine.

Looks good tho brah.

No visors ever had screws they just had "pops." On the far end of the visor, away from the mirror, there is a tab that slips under that black piece. That piece needs to be loosened to allow the window to roll up all the way. My visors really arent much different compared to these, the only difference was that I could pull the mounting tabs off, otherwise they install just the same way.
