Damn I was in Vegas last weekend too!! I knew I should have said something hahaha...but I was strictly there on business and really didnt have much downtime....

Thats pretty good mileage too! I had a Hyundai Sonata rental and 75 the whole way home on cruise control = 330 miles using about 7.5 gallons

Possibly, but I've gotten 31 mpg going 77 mph, so if she was only going 68 mph, I don't see why it's not possible. Btw, I don't think I've ever seen anyone go much less than 80 between Cali and Vegas.

I didn't have the A/C on either while I was going 68 mph in the middle of the day. I wanted to get the best gas mileage possible. Summer of 2006 I got 32 mpg coming home from Monterey CA without my Stromung exhaust. I think I was going more like 75 mph.

Has anyone heard that cars are suppose to get the best gas mileage at 55? Seem like I've heard that before.

Ah hah, thats how you did it, 68mph. If I could drive that slow out on the open highway I wouldnt have the ticket collection that I do. 6th gear just earned me a ticket last week.
