I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

was it our specific rules that turned ppl of? i thought they were pretty simple. with the amount of photoghrapy some do around here i thought it was be an easy task to take some pictures, pick out your best shot/ your perfect shot from a new and unseen photoshoot.

rich, and what happened to you? you didn't have anything to submit?

i'm not gonna post mine but from a older shoot, for example, this would have been my submission:



it was the perfect/best shot from that photoshoot.

do we need some kinda of more incentive to get ppl to part take? how about next time, who ever is voted the best shot i'll pay to have a poster made, free for the winner , and if anyone else wants a copy, well you can order/pay for one.

Getting the legend all prettied up and having a location in mind is a lot of work and planning. I did one photoshoot that month but I was so happy with it, I couldn't stand to submit a photo and hold off posting the rest. I wasn't especially happy about not being able to fix things in photoshop, but that didn't turn out to be a problem.

i didn't mind the whole no photoshop thing, I am not very handy with it and i don't really want to rely on ps as a crutch anyways. I don't know how some of you got to be so good at ps I try to learn it but i feel like a little kid just wanting to out and do the fun stuff

Yea, I'd definitely rather not use photoshop but sometimes the hue is a little funky or maybe I did an HDR or maybe I'm making an official submission and that huge dent in my front passenger door is totally unacceptable. I'm probably only using about $90 worth of photo shop as most of my tricks for healing are derived out of the clone brush. I try to avoid photoshop though, just depends on how things turn out, especially for official submissions.
