Nice buy! Nate B. is doing a 3.5 swap as well and I will be helping in any way possible. Lets see if we can collaborate this and all work together.

Bad Twin Update
yes indeed they're runnin strong there was a slight scare when I leaked some air into the cooling system during the TB bypass but a bleed fixed that. I have made a couple more purchases while in wait of the heart (engine) transplant for the Bad twin. I have enjoyed the deep throaty sound of the straight through exaust so I picked up another OBX this time and a high flow barrel spun cat. The projectors have made it home for the retro fit so here are some pics. 91TypII, and RanRan it is almost time. . .And Mondonalds hit me up if you see me on line.
![]() ![]() ![]() And thanks Leon your pics of your car have been an inspiration to me as well so the honor is mine to feel this inspired you in some way. As soon as the 3.5 comes in and I get into that stage of the transformation I will post pics about that as well. Until then look forward to the HID projector conversion courtesy of Lexus, BMW (H.I.D.'s) and Jag (Valeo ballasts) donor vehicles . Iggees seats also came in on par as always and are installed too. I must admit they are great for the price, free up funds for other items till I am ready for new leather. The intake has also been installed and a New Type I version of the Telion chip will be tested beginning tomorrow (updates for all you I have chipped to come soon after I hook up the wideband which was pending the cat back going in upon arrival). Damn once again I have managed to put more into the car than I have paid for it in upgrades but this time within one month of having her. I guess I got the bug but I am loving every bit of it!And lastly if anyone has any shroud/bezel ideas for RX330 or BMW 5 series lenses I am all ears PS coke cans won't work, they are too small, but I found that you can remove the top with a can opener and make a cool bezel if they fit your projectors ![]()

Evil Twin update, revised the Telion Chip for the TI engine and . . .
![]() Pics was also posted in Projector retro DIY, and yeas the cutoff is a little wierdm I would contribute that to the custom shroud and not going with a cutoff plate. (but the slant is due to the way my driveway is sloped)

Update
Tomorrow the car's going in for some exaust work I decided to go with the OBX straight through
exaust and a flowmonster cat (must run a cat in this state) here's some pre-install pics. I am going to do the same as the auto 2.5" from the Y back smooth bend. Took a long time to find a 2.5" in/out barrel spun high flow cat ![]() From the looks of the size comparison I would say the coupes going on a little diet too. ![]() ![]() I thought with all the talk about quality of the OBX headers that the quality of these would be less but for the price I was quite satisfied. Much better than it's K2 counterpart on the auto (though it too has done well for its price) ![]() ![]() I think the design of the exaust will be a little more suitable too, seems like there won't be too much of a loss in backpressure in terms of lowend torque purposes (which I believe in based on experience) ![]() Here is a nice shot of the honeycombe in the cat up close. ![]()

Tranny??? nope. . . Type I??? nope. . . that there is the new heart of my car a C35A (Tranny not included) Thanks Drizzle. The company I ordered it from didn't speculate (which is nice) but based on common estimations used for engines shipped from Japan and judging by the looks of it I would say 45-60k atleast 100k or more less than what is in there now (204K) Ahh it is difficult to be patient.
