Pictures of my wife's New Grocery Getter on 19's

Hey guys I haven't been on this site in a while. I was wondering if Spartacus ever sold my former 95 Milano red LS coupe 6-speed? I just recently bought this for my wife. I sold her 01 MDX to my brother and bought this one. Daughter loved the Navigation and DVD. I had to do a few things to it.

Yes I wet sanded and rubbed her out. I was amazed how much orange peel Acura allows on these new cars today. I just bought this 2005 MDX touring model with navigation and dvd earlier this month, it currently has just over 7000 miles on it. The rims are off a 2007 Acura RDX in Silver Sparkle. They are 19 X 8's. I had them install the 05-06 MDX TPMS sensors so that they would be compatible with my vehicles monitoring system. The tires are Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asymettrico's in a 255/50/18. they are the exact same dimensions as the stock 235/65/17 tires on the 17 X 6.5 in rims. No rubbing and they handle incredibly. I added the chrome side steps, fender flare kit, rear tailgate spoiler, moon roof visor, wide body/door moldings, rubber trunk tray, sliding rear privacy pull cover, rubber and carpeted floor mats and locking lug nuts. All I have left to do is tint the front two windows in 35%. I really like this SUV and love the black interior.

I remember SPARTACUS trying to sell it on E-bay and the auction never met the reserve. I was very curious if anyone on this forum ever bought it from him and if it ever made it back here state side. I know he wanted a 4 door black on clack GS 6-speed. Boy do I miss that car.

That MDX is beautiful! I love the rims from the RDx on it too! I am thinking of getting rid of my Jepp and getting an 04 or 05 Touring model myself. Good job on the upgrades!

It takes balls to wetsand a brand new car, and a black one at that. Props to you, I agree that a lot of new Hondas and Acuras have a pitiful amount of orange peel. Definitely not up to their old standards. I'll bet yours looks great now that you went over it yourself.
