Those are some very nice rims! Did you buy the Acura grill and badges and add them? That is how it looks to me. Very cool! I bet people ask you what Acura is quite often.

Hi,
My RL is a Honda Legend in Europe. I have bought the emblems on ebay.com
The most people in Germany don’t know this car because Honda has sold between 1999-2004 only 750 of those Legends. And since I have the Acura Emblems on it nobody knows where the car comes from! Sometimes the people ask me on the street where the car comes from. Only the neighbor who comes from the USA knows the car. I’m driving the car since last year and I am really happy whit the RL.
It is really a fantastic car and my 4th Honda after a CRX, Accord and the Integra Type R.

Ok, I have a question about the autobahn. I have been to Germany and love the place, so your owning a Legend (RL) is very intriguing to me since most of Germany backs the BMWs and Mercedes. I rented a Volvo V70 turbo wagon and had foot to the floor for 1 hour (intermittantly and as much as I could 242 km/hr) on the autobahn and I was loving every minute of the driving over there. Respect for your drivers and the fact that at 150 MPH on the speedometer, I get passed by a 5 series bmw! Killer cool!

I wanted to know how you would rate your car as an autobahn bomber? Merc and BMW rule the road over there. Are we far behind in the world of high speed crusing? To me your car looks like a great version of a S class Merc. Sweet ride!

Let us know how we stack up to the competition over there. Pants beaten off or are we holding our own?

Hi,

in Germany the RL is only a slow Cruiser. This is one of the reasons why Honda sold so few cars. People who buy such a car won’t always more power. Therefore the RL was bought often from old Grandfathers.

The real Autobahn Bomber here in Germany are cars like:

BMW M3 & M5
Audi RS6
Mercedes AMG
Porsche 911

But when you are driving a RL you have one big advantage. You have one of the most solid cars. And this is more important for me as more power under the hood.

I think the new Acura RL 2005 is on the right way to become a real Autobahn Bomber too.

Do you know if HID headlight was a optional for 98" Honda Legend?
I can't find any HID headlight from Aisa/Japan/Taiwan and also US Honda/Acura dealer.
If it's available in Germany, it will be great and I absolutly wanna buy one there~
