I picked mine up completely by luck. To be honest didn't know anything about Legends. Had a beater spontaneously combust on me and needed a car fast, my boss at the time had the 93 LS coupe 6-spd and wanted a 300z, so he sold it to me with 150k miles for 6k out the door. Since then I have absolutely fallen in love with the car. Perfect combination of luxury and performance. I am still yet to see another 6-spd coupe in the Minneapolis area. If I could find another with low miles I would buy in a heartbeat. Currently considering the new 07 TL S-type, seems to be the closest.

Not many good ones, and body work is definately a priority. Hate to park all side ways in the parking lots like a jackass, but these days...

Hey I've got a 6 speed. I fell in love with Legends in the early 90's (I was born in 83). Back then only doctors and drug dealers drove Legends. My cousin (who was neither by the way) had an '88 coupe. My brother was riding shotgun and they had the young boy in the back. My cousin asked me if I was hot and I was like "Not really." I think I stole his thunder a bit but he still put the window down anyway. Unbelievable! I thought. The windows go down in the back of the coupe! I was hooked. Another one of my older cousins had a G2 Legend. Just from rolling w/ him I knew every feature on the car before I was old enough to legally drive. I just happened to be on ebay one day and saw a 6 speed coupe. I jumped on it and won the bidding at $5,500 at 156k. I had to go to Dayton, OH to pick it up (which is an adventurous story for another time). The car was sick. Fresh leather interior with suede in the middle, cold air intake, 18" motegi's. I dubbed it "the car of my dreams" and vowed to keep it forever. 3 years and 1 transmission swap later, it's still running strong. My wife gets jealous sometimes, especially on weekends (wash, wax, repeat). Just wait till I get my money right. I'll have a 2010 Legend soon.
My name is Jaji and I am addicted to Acura Legends. Randy Moss, b!tche$ |

Found my legend in a junk yard. Only bought it because it had a 6speed tranny. Totally rebuilt. If you were to dismantel my car I am sure you would find blood stains all over the place. Cut my hand many times. Damn near replaced everything. OMG is she pretty and I love her to death.

I had spent two years looking for legends on Auto trader for a legend. I started when i was 15 , watching as they would come and go in my area. I had trouble in school so i didnt get my licence till i was 17, and there had been a drought. I had given up looking for legends because for like three months there was not a single one that i could get my hands on. And there was no way my dad was taking me to another state to get one. The time had finally come when i got the ok to look for cars and i decide to try one more time, search : acura legend.... there it was my 94 ls 6 speed blck on type F. I was a bitch trying to convince my dad to go in on a car with me that had 135000 miles but he gave in and it was mine. Sadly we had to part ways later on when i was in a terrible car wreck which almost claimed the lives of my sister and myself. The car was gone though.. and it was the sturdy build of the legend that stopped the front end from going through the dash. Long story short i wasnt not allowed to get any other car except for the legend again. months after the crash i found my seccond and Ironically, my dad flew me up to Boise Idaho to get the white 93 ls coupe i have now which i got from forum member kennyV. And thats how i got my coupes

my 6 speed
Found mine last Feb. on Craigslist Atlanta. Located just north of town, he alreay had 3 "lookers" lined up when I called, about 3 hrs after his post appeared. I had been scouring CL and Autotrader for about 2 months. Didn't even KNOW about the Type II until I found mine. Bought @ 148,000, 2nd owner, bone stock. Repaint due to faded clear coat, but you have to look real close to notice. Dark green w/ tan leather. Original window sticker and factory manuals included.
I'm now @ 152K and looking into CAI (Weapon R w/ Cold Airbox, thanks to a PM from ? sorry, can't remember who d'oh!) and exhaust plus a Telion chip. Hey Hotlanta homies, I'm going to a car show today in Cumming, 11-3 this afternoon. I'll be in my cousin's 2002 but my ride will be in Duluth and I'll be in town til tomorrow. PM me if anyone wants to meet up Sunday AM! |

I have a blk/blk 95 LS Coupe 6Spd. Just got it last week. took me about 8 months to find the right one. I looked on Autotrader, Ebay, and I googled the hell out of the car. Any way I need to have some work done to her to get her to where I think she need to be...Then I'll go crazy and post picture's..PS

Long story as to why I love this car....I'll skip it.
Was torn between Coupe or Sedan....Wife got knocked up while I debated...solved my debate. Sedan. Searched 4 n' some years (2 or so with true intent to buy the Sedan). Primarely Autotrader.com; Cars.com, Paper, & Ebay. Finally found the '95 GS in my state (on Autotrader). Didn't have the exterior/interior color I wanted, but was so close and just hapened to walk into some money when he was selling, so I bit. I love this car, but there are still reasons I kick myself for buying it (don't get me wrong, I'd still own one today). One, I bought a car that spent it's life in MN. Because of that, it's a rusty old dog. Not too bad yet, but still should have boughten one from a Southern State. Second, I bought it from an Ass-clown. Don't think he put much, if any, effort in maintaining this car. I was just so damn excited to finally find one that I jumped into it w/o caring. What gets me is he bought another GS with an auto so his wife - who scrathed the piss out of my car and broke my rearview - could drive it compitantly. His dumb kids also got shit all up and between the seats (I think it was shit at least). Chalk that up as a good learning experience. First owner was good to it though. Guy actually traded it back to the same dealership for an RL. Good to know at least 2 of the 3 owners are doing the car justice. I think 3 of 3 would have saved me some money though.

I found my 6spd ls on accident. I always like the way legends looked and wanted a 2nd gen but called to test drive a 1st gen to see what it felt like. Told them I wasn't interested but wanted to find out how it handles anyway and they told me they had a 6spd for sale too and it hadn't been advertised yet. I swooped it up before they even got a chance to put it in the paper...hella lucky. Btw...I wasn't even looking to buy and I had just started looking at legends for a serious next car about a week or two before.

I picked mine up last Oct. I've been driving my work van for a looooonnnnnggg time (ever since my '88 Legend sedan died). I just happened to be looking at coupes mostly cause I liked to dream about finally owning one. I picked it up in Daly City from an add on AutoTrader. Timing was right, price was right, so it came home with me! Needs a little TLC, but I'm still loving my Legend!
