Oh look! I missed a posting opportunity!
![]() OK, after driving a G1 sedan for 5 years, I decided to get myself a G2. After looking around and deciding on a GS, I got myself my first '94 GS with an auto tranny back in 2000. Wanted a 6-speed, but they were super rare at the time. Two years later, with the help of a fellow member, a '94 GS 6-speed was located within 5 1/2 hours of me. Made the deal over the phone, rented an Accord, drove up, got the car, drove it back home, and I added yet another GS to my family; this time the 6-speed I always wanted. ![]() |

How did I miss this thread????
Anyways, The first Legend I purchased was a 1988 Silver Legend Coupe 5 speed and after I gotten it to the point on how I wanted it to look, I decided it was time to fine a G2 Coupe 6 speed. The color I wanted was the non-pearl white with black interior. After searching the internet for months I finally found a guy in the Bay Area selling a 94 Coupe with the exact color I wanted. The only problem is, it wasn't an "LS", it was an "L". So, seeing how long this search was taking I decided to buy it. And the rest as they say is History.... But, now I own a 95 GS sedan auto as well as the 6 speed Coupe. MikeC

I sold my 6-Speed to my sister, but since it is still in the family and I still work on it from time to time it is really still mine
:pOops, mine was a 93 LS Coupe black with black leather. I had a complete 94-95 convertion done except for the electronic telescope and tilt steering wheel. From the outside it looked just like a 94-95 to everyone but the well trained Legend enthusiast. For those who don't know the 94-95 AC lines are routed differently and you can see that if you look in the grill by the radiator. |

I had owned my G1 coupe for a long time.
Posted in these boards for quite a long time. I started posting about how much I wanted a 6speed. I then started searching for 6speeds in the local area. I found a 94 LS that I liked, dude wanted too much for it. I found a 94 LS that I liked, went all the way to Baltimore to take a look at it, (it was an automatic), and some old ass lady bought it like 20 mins before I got there. I was kinda heated. It sold for like 13k. A week later, Dave C from the boards emailed me on a Friday, telling me "he found my car".. 55.6k on the odometer. "Perfect inside and out, only a few dents, perfect paint job". Bought insurance on the spot. Called the dealer. Told em to hold it for me. Didnt even test drive it. Bought it Nov 2, 2001 from a Jaguar dealership. They must have thought that 6speeds were less valuable than automatics because I got a super discount. Took it home the next day, smiling like a bandit. It has 77k miles now. 6000K HIDs, cross drilled rotors. 90k service last week. New clutch that I did last year (I wanted a new clutch, I had a member of the forums, KNLNGUS install it). So basically, the car is brand new, at least it feels that way. Here's a pic of it : ![]() ![]()

I guess I can add my story to the list....
Well this happened the other day I went down to Ft. Walton to get my buddies front windshield tinted. Well driving down there in this POS car lot (cars were like Toyota tercel, Geo Metro, etc). I saw this beautiful green legend sedan and I noticed the GS rims... I thought to myself no... this guy couldnt of had one of those! Well I kinda shrug it off and we get his windshield tinted and we head home. Well I thought about it over night constantly on my mind and then I decided that I better take a second look JUST to make sure. We head back there that following night and the owner is outside we pull over and look and as I thought I saw the 6-speed tranny I was like . So I asked the guy WHAT you want for it and he (low ballin us never thinkin wed come back) said 5,200... That was a dun deal for me I got it and would you belive couple dints and scratches but great paint and perfect mechanically with mint interior! I came out lucky!

I'd say we're pretty rare with only about 35 out of all the members that are currently active on here. Any others that haven't stepped up yet?

There's another guy in my area with a red 6 speed with 18's. I've been meaning to contact him but I think I lost his info. It was cool because I met him at work. I had seen the car parked where I work for no more than 15 mins, every other month or so, but I wasn't able to catch up to the owner. I was outside in the parking lot and noticed that he had pulled up next to my car (I park out from the rest) and got out to check it out. I saw him walk inside so I went in as well. Up at customer service he began to ask one of the employees (my manager), starting off like "I know this is kind of wierd, but I think the red car out there belongs to someone that works here..." and thats when I came up and we talked for a bit. People were wondering what the hell we were talking about, it was great.

Don't know how I missed this, but here's my info.
Liked the Legend since it came out and fell in love with the G2. Decided then I was gonna get one someday but it had to be a stick. Fast Forward 7 years, I'm looking for a V6 Manual 2 door japanese car. Legend, Supra, SC, and 300ZX all make the cut but are too small inside or just have a sucky interior except the Legend. Looked for black or green one for about a year. No one in the Miami area had one. So I gave up and was gonna get a prelude. Of course I couldn't get the color prelude I wanted so as I was negotiating with a dealer on another color prelude I did a search for the legend again. Up popped my car, I called the number and found out it was going to auction in Orlando. The auto broker pulled it out of the auction drove it down to me for me to test drive and have it checked out by my local Honda/Acura specialists. Two days later money and keys were exchanged. Bought my Black w/ Tan Interior 1995 LS Coupe in 1999 w/ 45K miles. Currently @ 120K miles. |

Back in the summer of 2001, i had a G1 legend L sedan 80K on it, went to the movies, came out of the movies, and i could not believe it! my car was gone, all of it, nothin but broken glass in the parking space, i could have cried, i just spent 4000$ on it! Well i found my car a week later and f--ked it up pretty bad, my insurance had labeled it a lost, so my plan was to use the money to fix it up. to make a long story short, my dad had an RL-96pretty, i wrecked it so that money went to him, Well about 4 days later i saw an ad in the paper for a 95LScoupe39K on it! WOW, i called the lexus dealer it was still there went to the dealer put a 1000 down on it, didnt even see what the car looked liked, came back the next day the salesman took me to the back lot, and there it was pretty gold in color it was like brand new, he gave me the key, i opened the door got in, i was still amazed, at first i thought it was a five speed, then it hit me!! right at that moment in the lot, that i have a 6SPD, i was in heaven! Still is, thats my story
