1995 L coupe 95,000 miles Found ours on e-bay. Was bidding on a red 6 speed in Nashville and the guy sold it to a friend or something like that. This one was found a day later, on e-bay in Chicago, and had no bids at the end of the auction with a price of $8,000. We picked it up for $7,800 and some skyline chilli from Cincinnati. We have put a new clutch and had the rear tranny mount replaced. The car was then detailed and the seats were dyed back to thier original color. The interior was almost flawless. Pictured with new wheels & Tires. ![]() Last edited by 95sixspeed : 03-09-05 at 11:07 PM. |

i guess i am lucky to come up on a 6spd coupe. My older brother had a 91 legend 4 dr which i liked beat some preludes and nice ride then he bought a 92 2 dr auto coupe which was worse than the 4 dr needed an intake badly.
I met a friends friend who had a legend and i started talking to him and he told me it was a 6sp |

I was just driving in the neighborhood one day and saw this nice looking dark green Legend GS sitting in a parking lot with a 4 sale sign on it. I pulled up next to it to check it out and noticed it was a 6 speed I called the guy and bought it the next day. The guy I bough it from happend to be a forum member. It was totaled by a falling tree on September 16, 2004 due to Hurricane Ivan. I will have another.

I finally got a 6sp
I found mine on this forum from mmmchickenboy. He posted the ad from his local paper and I called and we worked it out. Flew out of Charlotte at 4 PM two weeks ago, picked up the car in South Bend from a very nice couple and after a quick stop at Super WallyWorld, I put down a 12 hour trip back to NC. I drive it to work every day and I love that thing. My other car that I left in the parking lot at work when I left two weeks ago has not moved and is now under a layer of dust from a quarry not too far away, but I have had no desire to drive it after I picked the Cpe up.
Everyone should have one of these, but they made so few of them, not everyone can!

Interesting thing is that all 6-speeds were technically "standard" equipment in the Type IIs. It's just that the majority of Legends sold had the optional 4-speed auto. ![]() |
