Smashed 92 and 97 RL pics
These pictures just came off of a roll of film that was recently developed. They were taken a few months back.
First off, this was the damage that was done to my 92L that rendered it totaled.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok so that's that. In my next post, I'll have the RL pics.... |

Just like the other pics above, these were taken awhile back (within the first week of purchasing the vehicle from the auction). The first pics you'll see involved work that was done to change the evaporator core.
Here's a view of the console (note: some of these pics show the interior kind of dirty. Keep in mind these were taken a day or two after I bought it and while I was fixing it): ![]() Another view.. ![]() As you can tell, there's no glove box... ![]() Another close up. You can also tell that the housing for the blower/evaporator has been removed as well, harnesses and all hanging: ![]() Here's that housing. Note how on the Legend, the blower was in a separate housing. On the RL, both the blower and evaporator share the same housing. Many of you have changed your blower motors and that required you to remove the housing on the Legend (and it's a pain as I can attest). On the RL, you can actually remove the motor by itself from the bottom of the housing. Much easier: ![]() View from the top of the housing: ![]() More pics on the way... |

Here's the old evaporator:
![]() And here's the new one: ![]() The plastic bag you see on the bottom right of the newspaper is a new OEM expansion valve. Even though though old one didn't exhibit signs of leaks, I still changed it anyway. ![]() ![]() Wheel :p ![]() Engine bay :p ![]() Here's the car after it's first wash: ![]() Nice clean leather ![]() ![]() Rear A/C registers (that's my leg on the left) :p ![]() The cockpit :p ![]() And that's it. Sorry the pictures weren't that great in quality. |

OOOh, I really like the RL. Also really like the color of the departed 92 L you had. Too bad you don't have a friend that could fix it at cost or anything. Plenty of good parts left on that baby.
