Since the first snow a few days ago, my car has looked like garbage with large dried dots of salt. Fresh snow washes all that away fortunately. It was just teatering on freezing so its nothing too great, but it made for a great new sig and I learned just how fast your shutter must be to get stationary flakes of falling snow. Its 1/500th of a second, btw.

(This is when I turned down my aperture and got 1/500th" shots. Couldn't really tell if I had gotten it till I downloaded them onto the computer.)

I love these stationary flakes

It was about now I realized my camera was soaked in water from melted flakes so I packed it up. Hope you enjoyed. Cheers to the upcoming holiday season, lets see you guys bust out your holiday sigs and avatars. Rich, lets get santa drivin your convertible legend!

Its a mixed blessing. You should see how it looks today. Dried water droplets leaving nothing but salt all over the paint.
