swooped a master window switch on ebay...$70
just wanted to clarify for some people needing a master window switch, i bought a 92 coupe master window switch on ebay(non wood grain), great price, hopefully it lasts forever, well see, anyways i installed it in my 93 coupe, woodgrain trim, and it works perfectly fine. all i did was swap the trim pieces with the actual switch. i checked with Acura here in Jacksonville, FL and they told me no matter what the trim is (wood grain or not), 92-95 master window switches for a coupe are all the same. it seems that the wood grain ones are selling for more(on ebay), just because of the trim.
btw why do these things cost over $300 brand new at the dealer, even over $100 from a junkyard is steeeeeeeep!!! James |

i pocketed all the switches from the local salvage yard, i had to pay 50 for a wood grain master switch and 30 bucks for wood grain center console but all other door switches went in my pocket

I need to swipe one for my sedan
. I replaced every other switch with the Burlwood switches and two days later my master goes out. The nut job that owned it before my friend took the window lock off and shoved a piece of rubber down there, eventually giving out and disabling all my other windows. Guess this means I get to finally upgrade my master to the Burlwood leaving just the console.ok edit* I won an auction and got the master switch for $92. Most likely too high, but I needed it...and the guy is located like 30 min. from my house so hopefully he is willing to meet up and I wont have to pay shipping. I managed to get a bid in at 15 sec. left, lol. Last edited by drmonkey : 07-13-06 at 01:47 AM. |
