18" Chrome Rims what size tires should

Be applied?

I have a set of 18" Ice Metal 888's and would like to know what size tire to wrap around them as a recommendation that should not rub. Below is a photo]s of the rims on a Caddillac

18" inch wheels on a legend usually need a 40 series tire. If it's 7-7.5 inches wide, i'd say 225, wider than that, a 235 series maybe? Don't know if 245/40/18 rubs on legend, I would guess maybe. Offset also matters...you want at least 42+.

Appreciate the responses...

As far as opinion is concerned why can't people just believe in "To Each his own" I bought the legend with 17" ADK racing rims which I threw in a nearby dumpster. Because you don't share/agree with what I like doesn't make your selective taste more revelant than anyone else's on the board.

Again I appreciate the responses and Enjoy what's left of the summer guys and God Bless.

Talking

I never said my opinion was more relevant than anybody elses.
I was simply voicing my opinion...but hey its not my car so...what you do with it is your own decision.

That's OMGit'sDANNY's Sedan...those pics are at best 4 years old.

In response to the 18s, go with 215/45 or 225 35. for a good low profile tire,

7.5 is the standard i go by when deciding tires. (215 & 7.5) is typically the ideal combination.

BTW, the IceMetal 888s are nice looking wheels on the Legend. If he asked your opinion it would have been expressly requested.
