The reason Im asking so many questions is because I had a 93 sedan previously with 17" rims and 225/45/17 tires without a drop and when people sat in the back it rubbed at times.

Also do you think the car would need a drop with 18" rims? Do you know how many inches in gap might remain?
you should be fine with 8". the offset is on the wheel. there's no such thing as offset on a tire. the offset is just the distance of the hub from the center of the wheel.

225/45/17 should not rub unless you had likea 40mm offset. as for 18's, if you don't drop it, u'll have about a 2 inch gap between the top of the tire to the fender.

That's like me I have an 18' wheel actually it reads like this 225/40/18 with an offset of 42.
This size fits flush no rubbing whats so ever (car load full to slam position) no my car isn't lowered but if you didn't know any better you would say it was, most people swear its lowered. I dunno if the GS's sits lower than the LS's. I even had my suspension checked, its all good, and so for this reason I've never felt the need to lower my car, although the front can be brought down just a tad, but then my wife would probably scrape the front lip of my new front bumper, so I think I'll leave it alone.

Reno has a Gs, therefore, he has a sedan.

Like I said earlier, the sedan's have a slightly smaller wheelwell - this is noticeable in appearance, as well as when trying to fit a wheel with an offset of less than +42 on it. Scrub city

alright...What about 19X8 or 19x9's...

when the cash get to be able to buy them, i was looking at some Victorious Crusher (very popular with VIP style cars) rims. With the fenders rolled do you think these wheels will fit and how much would the fenders need t be rolled to do this.

sorry for the off topic...

I plan on rolling my fenders so I can have a JDM dish wheel and have a large lip in the rear of the car. I will not roll the front fenders. I talked to GS4will and he talked to some JDM companies for me, and they said the legend could have a 18 by 8 in the rear with a mildly low offset for a nice lip in the rear with mild fender rolling. I am thinking of 18 by 7.5 in front with the normal 51 offset and the 18 by 8 in the back with a 45 offset.
