nah, the 7.5 with 55 ofset has been tried many times, its a proven working method, you shouldn't have any rubbing issues.

I would check with an acura dealer on those specs. I heard (from Tw1st) that the offset is lower than +55 and would not fit a Legend. I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I recall.

so i finally bought the rims and im reading from alperovich that you have to bore the rims out... but how can you tell? what is it that lets you know that the center hub needs to be bored?

take your factory wheel off. on look on the rotor, there is a little lip in the middle. its the same side as the hole in the direct center of the wheel. now here is where the tape measure comes into play. Measure the diameter of this lip. it will be 72.xxx mm now measure the new wheel u got. on the inside, it'll be 64.xxx mm. You have hub centric wheels. this means that wheel was designed to fit onto that hub portion and carry some of the weight of the car. The inside of the new wheels will need to be bored out to that 72.xxx mm (and some1 please correct me if i'm wrong on the extra measurement) to get proper fittament and for safety.

wait so let me get this straight.... what im looking is on the rotor? and not on the back of the actual rim? because everytime i talk to anybody i know that know about rims, they aren't completely sure what im talking about. so is it the RIM that needs to get bored.. or the rotor?
p.s. they guy i talked to said they should just fit fine too... he said i wouldn't need to bore anything... but then again you guys are the ones with legends and not him

i looked up btw, what some guys do is have it bored to 72mm then use a 72mm to 70.1 hubcentric ring.
