SUSPENSION: Koni Red & Ground Control setup

For those of you who run / ran this setup, can I please have some feedback, and comparison to other setups out there??

I'm considering buying this setup, and would like to get good insight of its performance. Thanks!

well i have the koni red sport kit so koni springs and koni shocks. installed this myself and after getting pissed off at the lack of new parts in the kit (meaning you need to take stock parts off the make it work) and the spring compressor i got it done in about 11 hours working by myself.

So far i am happy with it and the fact that if doesnt hurt my ass or my gf ass. long trips are still a pleasure and since i live in PA their are potholes EVERYWHERE and dodging them is a challenge. Perfromance wise this was perfect mod for the 130k stock suspention i had (which the struts would not rebound) the car now stays flat in the turns and has made mountain driving a thrill ride.

it lowered the car about an inch all around 4 finger gap to a 2 finger gap

on very uneven pavement and bad roads with pot wholes yes you are thrown aro8und in your seat a bit but if you on a smooth road or highway and hit something it reacts and thats it. you dont get stuck in an oscilating sin curve as you go

Hi BBoarder,

I'm in the market for a set of the Koni sports kit like yours and can't seem to find any e-tailer that have them in stock. If you don't mind, would you tell me where you purchase yours?

By the way, in my search I heard Koni may not be selling them anymore.

Got it... thank you!

Mine are on the way. 11 hours huh? What's the most difficult and time consuming part?

my most time consuming part was screwing up but if you do everything right it was the compressing and uncompressing on the springs. i Highly suggest using a lift and some air tools you will need to use force to get some things out. Also go to autozone or advanced auto parts and rent a spring compressor you cant do this job with out one
