These shocks & springs any good?

I'm looking to order these this week. I would like to know if they are worth it.

KYB GR-2 shocks and 4 Vogtland high performance German made Lowering springs with a 1.2 inch drop, to fit 1991 to 1995 Acura Legend $400 shipped.

Never heard of those springs.

In order of shocks, Coilover shocks > Koni reds > kyb > dog crap > everything else.

Those kybs arent bad, best you can get other than the konis or going full coilovers (ie JICs or Tiens, both over a grand for a set)

Personal experience from having bought KYB's before they are pretty good if you are gonna use OEM springs (stock ride) If you use KYB with eibach or probably another lowering spring it will drive like ass. I used KYB with eibach springs it was just a terrible bouncy ride. When I switched the kyb with the OEM springs it was just like stock ride again. I guess kyb's are a oem replacement.

Does having stock springs and kyb shocks lower the car at all?

actually, the kyb spring rate is 5%-10% stiffer than oem -depending on the year, make and model, but not a replacement, but also considered as an upgrade.

it's okay to use the kyb/eibach because the eibach's stiffness will compensate the kyb's. it actually rides better, i mean, with this setup, you aren't sacrificing too much on the luxury side, so the ride feels descent and subtle. just don't expect to get the best handling out of it.

just don't combine kyb/st or some other knockoff's spring with kyb's.

Vogtland springs are quite good I heard from Germany. KYB's are not bad either.

You will voind all warranties witht eh KYB GR2 model if you lower it. They are not made for lowering and will most likely bottom out and start to leak if they car is lowered by more than 1.5 inchs. Good shock other than that, don't know about the springs personally.
