Best bird crap remover?

Well everytime my car gets clean and shiny, a bird shits on it. Every time. Like clockwork.

The problem is, there are a bunch of trees on my street, and i can't really avoid parking under them usually... add that to the fact that I sometimes don't notice the bird shit on the car until I look at it in the morning before I leave for work, and I never have the time to clean it off before I have to go. Which means it marinates for a day or so until I get the chance to clean it off.

What's the easiest method of cleaning bird shit off? Not fresh shit... couple hour+ old crusty shit. lol

I have a bottle or 2 of some detail spray, so would that be able to cut through it and clean it off a bit?

Have a bottle of detail spray, or a spray bottle with a very little bit of dish soap (very little), mix with water and just spray it, let it sit, then wipe. If you can, get some spray on wax too.

I can't find my rule book, but I am pretty sure at this point I am supposed to advise you to NEVER use dish soap on your car for any reason...

thats why i advised "VERY LITTLE" and get spray on wax. It would be used to just soak the crap so it will come off. Plain water wont work. Anyway, why havent you told Stevieray about not using dish soap in his detail thread .

Poorboys used to have Bird Sh#t remover. (That was it's actual name) Sales were not doing very well, but it was just a high concentrate of another one of their products-Spray and Wipe. That's what I use. I spray it on, let it sit and then wipe off. Be careful, removing already dried shit can cause scratches.

This is what I use. No garage. Just wash the cover once in a while in washing machine!

I just take a hose and spray at it with as much water pressure as possible, let it kinda melt, then give it a rub with a sponge.

Have the bird clean it up.

I use Poorboys Bug Squash with warm water and then rinse it off.

GRRR these birds are pissing me off.

I just got it washed and waxed yesterday, so it was nice and shiny

I'm coming home, and theres this beautiful M3 convertible coupe down the street from me, parked under 3 trees. 2 of which are out next to the sidewalk, and one is in his neighbor's front yard, and its shiny as hell

I get to my house, and im parked HALFWAY under HALF of a tree, and i got hit twice on the hood

At least the detail spray got it off really easily.

You have to solve the problem at the root here...

Buy a shotgun. Kill the birds.
Buy a chain saw. Cut the trees they live in down.

We all know the feeling though man. I'm glad the detail spray works!
