Bissell's Carpet Cleaner
I just ran across a lot of good comments on Bissell's Little Green Machine for carpet cleaning. I never liked the idea of rubbing cleaner into the carpet and not extracting it along with the deep down dirt year after year. A quick look shows about $90 for one.
Anyone use it? http://www.bissell.com/Products/prod...COMPARE#Detail

I have one-good for small jobs, but I used it on a really dirty car once and something inside is clogged to the point that it wont work anymore-probably my mistake for not vacuuming more before using it, but you live and learn.
Some have had lots of success with them.

We have one lying around. Its good for getting dry dirt out of the fibers of your mats. I always beat and vacuum them first of course.

Little Green Machines are the shit. Combined with Gonzo stain remover & a toothbrush, there ain't much I can't get out of a carpet.

I spray my floor mats with 4:1 diluted Woolite scrub it with a brush. Spray it with the hose and extract the dirty water with a wet/dry vac. Works great

I used the full size Bissel steam cleaner after removing all my seats. I got at least 10 buckets of black water. And the carpet was almost dry instantly after I sucked it out.

I always want to buy one of those but didn't because I thought it was probably one of those gimmick product that don't really work. Instead I spray the carpet with a solution of oxyclean + water, let it sit for 15 min and then scurb it with a brush. I vacuum it all up with a wet/dry vac before the solution dries. Then I spray on some foamy carpet cleaner, use the brush attachment on my steam cleaner and then work at it for a good 10 minutes until the texture of the carpet is nice and soft. I vacuum it all up with my wet/dry vac again to make sure its dry and then let it air dry. It works pretty well considering my carpet in the front was in really bad shape. The best trick I learnt on the forum for foot mats was to soak them in oxyclean and using a pressure washer to drive all the dirt out.

I got a Little Green Machine from Amazon last week.I decided to get the one without the heater, I had heard that the heater and the turbo brush sometimes malfunction.I used it for the first time this past weekend on my Accord, it works well.

We've had the Little Green Machine (with the heater) for a few years now, and we love it! Does a great job on our Legends, leaves the carpets virtually dry if you take the little bit of extra time with the vac. But for the serious stains, make sure to use a pre-soak or the Bissell Spot lifter solution, as it really makes a difference.
Please make certain that you vacuum your rugs fairly well before using, because as 91LSMAN said earlier, the cleaner gets clogged-up if you don't! (there's my .02!)

Shouldn't you have poured that in the toilet? LOL It looks like runny dudu. LOL
But seriously though, the carpet cleaner definately works wonders. I used the cleaner in my house and the water was brown as well, even though the carpet appeared clean beforehand.
