HOW TO CLEAN AND SHINE YOUR WHEELS

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately, I don't have a camera to take Pics and post my results, but I'm willing to share with you these mixtures; the result is outstanding. If your wheels have been stained, you will love this.

1-Aluminum Wheels Cleaner

2 Tablespoons------------- POWDERED ALUM (any grocery store)
1 Cup--------------------- Trisodium Phosphate (at any paint store)

Mix them with enough water to form a thick paste. Then dip a soft cloth into paste and rub on the wheels-----Use a bruth for best results. Then rinse with water.

2- Aluminum Wheels Polish
This one is a bit more complicated. You can find everything at any grocery store, except the chalk powder (school supply store).

3/4 Cup ------------------- calcium carbonate (or whiting)
1/2 Cup ------------------- Alum powder
1/2 cup ------------------- Talc

Mix them with enough water to form a thick paste. Then dip a soft cloth into paste and rub on the wheels. Rinse with water.

I spent about $7 for these mixtures. My wheels shine as HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

It all depends on how much of these products you buy. The trisodium Phosphate, for example, I bought the smallest they had and it will give me 8-10 more use.

In short, I can say that I have enough of these things left for another 6months.

My wheels have that coat of clear crap on them, and it's beginning to look like shit. It's like the coating they put on motorcycle side covers that eventually pits and looks like shit. Any suggestions on how to remove it and not remove the paint inside the spokes?

Damn, I got the same problem, I know a place near me that will re-coat them, maybe there is a place by you?
