cleaning up glass head lights

in a few days i will be detailing a neighbors mercedes S420. i had a question on cleaning the headlights however. one of the headlights is real cloudy. how do i clean this up? im assuming you cant use sand paper on glass headlights like you can our our lights. any suggestions? i dont wanna mess up his headlights.

Yup. You can polish glass just like paint, but the headlight might be damaged.
