Arrow DIY Junkyard Leather to "New" Leather

This is my DIY cleaning of leather seats from a junkyard and making it look/smell/feel new.

Tools
Hose
Water
Fabulouso
Odor Ban
Towel
Sponges with green rough side
Favorite leather conditioner

1. Remove the seats from the car and spray "Odor Ban" on the leather and let it sit for 3 mins. Then spray it again but saturate the leather this time and take a sponge and rub it around and get the odor ban worked into the leather.

2. Now wet the sponge and clean off the odor ban off the leather. This will make the leather loose ALL stinks and smells.

3. Cleaning step. For back seats do it in sections. I split the seats into 3 areas and cleaned them. The cleaner used will be called "fabulouso" (I have to check the spelling)It will be a teal/blue color, DO NOT use the purple colored one. The smell is horrible and will give you headaches.

4. Pour the cleaner on the sponge and work the leather in all directions. Make sure to scrub the leather to get it cleaned.

5. Now wipe the cleaner off with a watered sponge again.

6. Now if you bought the sponges with a green hard side this is were you will press gently and clean all the stitching and cracks in the leather. Make sure to use a good amount of cleaner.

7. Wipe the leather again with a watered sponge and let it air dry.

8. Once it is air dried, use your hose and spray the cleaner off while wiping it off. Be careful not to soak the foam it will cause mold, once all the bubbles have disappeared. Towel dry the leather.

9. This can be a personal preference but for me I used Lexol Conditioner on the leather and let it sit in and many coats which softened the leather slightly.

10. Now enjoy your cleaned leather that doesn't stink of anything besides clean and looks great.

Before Pic

After Pic this is with no condition this is just after being dried.

Sorry for cell pics but it still shows how dirty it was and how clean it became.

Very nice indeed as that hard work paid off. Actually it makes me want to go visit a junkyard and see what I can find.
