Zaino / Four Star are my two favorites and what I use in my cars as well as my customers cars, they don't leave a greasy sticky film or feel behind. Both smells really nice Zaino is probably the best smelling, 4 star smells like freah new leather. I always recommend using products that are made for leather that way you'll get the right chemical (ph) balance that wont accelarate leather wear. Always condition your leather after a cleaning otherwise its like taking a shower without putting on lotion or using a moisturizer afterwards.

Cleaning Vinyl

I know you guys have been providing good tips for leather but can anyone suggest good ways to clean the vinyl around the gearshift and arm rest and other areas. I just bought my 91 Coupe with Type F interior and man I've tried everything but I can seem to get the dirt out that tan. I needs something that penetrates deep. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I did rear seat back with magic eraser followed by conditioner. I left the seat bottom untouched for comparison. I will post pics and you can see the difference for yourself. I'm researching on leather dyes (to fill cracks, restore color) and so far I'm down to 3 products.

Leatherique >$100
Sureflex <$100
Ebay no name $25

I prefer using a two step method on whats left of my leather....although I have to get a kit and replace it all.....honestly I got seriously screwed over on my car but than again...its a car....and stuff is replaceable...but even then I would use a sepreate cleaner and conditioner...just me though....MeGuiars is good stuff.

all you can really do is clean your leather often, and put some high end leather protectent, like some honda pro, hand buff it on with a microfiber rag and let it sit. werd.

Mr. clean magic eraser, put small swirly cracks in my leather... i even used the Maguire's condition wipes after. it works great on all the hard surfaces of the interior though, but wouldn't suggest it for the leather...
