I have no idea what that is. Pictures maybe? Could it really be better than washing/waxing it by hand yourself?

![]() You and me both know Wyatt is right, hand wash and wax/clay/buff FTW! And for the record, he is talking about a laser car wash we had in town very different from the automatic washes we find at gas stations. They are completely touchless, no spinning things or anything touches your car at all, its all high powered shiznet. The colors that roll over your car in those things are tripped out too, I've only done it once. ![]() |

I used an automatic car wash for the first time at NALM last weekend. I've always been VERRRRY skeptical of washes like that ~ an obsessive owner is always better right?
My car looked like a mess just before I was supposed to meet the guys for lunch. Normally I'd wash it myself but I had less than ten minutes so I pulled into a gas station near the hotel that had a touchless car wash. The guide rails (for the wheels) were padded and the black Mercedes-Benz coming through the wash before me looked alright so I figured I'd give it a try. I was actually pretty impressed... didn't give me that good-owner-feeling that I get by washing my own car, but for a quick rinse-and-go it was pretty good.
