Unhappy For those of you with leather interiors

Didn't see any thing under a search. For those of you with leather interiors. How do you keep your windows from fogging up from the leather!! Can't seem to keep my windows clean, nor from fogging up with that streaky film!! It's a pain in the arse to clean the inner windows and to keep clean!!!

I wouldn't blame your leather for the fogging. Humidity has a lot to do with it. I don't really have to "stop my windows from fogging" unless it's colder, rainy and humid-then I just use the air conditioning. Why would you think your leather is causing your windows to fog.

I've had more than a dozen cars and have never had this much of a problem with the windows fogging(hazing) from the interior. I've also talked to other people with leather interiors and they too have the same problem. My Camaro has more window glass than my Legend does. And It doesn't fog(haze) anything if at all compared to my Legend!!

thats a new one, leather causing window fog. Only thing i can think of that causes it is actually the cleaner or dressing you might use on the leather. Otherwise, leather doesnt really have anything to cause your windows to fog. Heres a question for you, do you drive with your windows down regularly?

It's not really a fogging more like a haze. Kinda like when your window gets really streaky. if you try to wipe it with a cloth and cleaner it just smears around. The only way I've found to remove it is to clean my windows with window cleaner and news paper!! I was told by my uncle that when leather breaths it puts out somekind of chemical fumes that cause the hazing. I forgot what he called it, but it's normal.

Brand new leather, absolutely no fogging, but, my AC works also!

In the heat(direct sun), my leather typically "breathes" onto the windows. Its difficult to clean with regular window cleaner; it usually takes me twice over to clean it off fully. I have noticed there hasn't been any film on the windows in the heat since I put mcguiars leather cleaner/protectant. Just make sure to apply it while its cool and out of sun(maybe try that with your lexol first).

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once
