I know the film you're talking about, it's not fog.
Do you smoke by chance? Another more likely possibility is your vinyl, like on the dash. Use a high quality protectant, not armor all. And put window shades in your windshield when you're parked.

It seems you guys are talking about 'outgassing' which I believe can happen to any car regardless of leather interiors or not. It's caused by gasses being released from the interior materials because of heat. Easy way to keep it from building up is to leave your windows cracked a bit when you're parked ~ or even fully open if you park in a garage.

If you already have buildup, try microfiber towels.

No I don't smoke. and I use Lexol to protect and clean my interior.

Yeah I have to park outside. But I keep my car covered most of the time with the windows up!! Prob. why my windows fog up. (Outgassing) was what I think my uncle called it!! Don't like to leave my windows cracked open because I pretty much only drive the car on weekends and keep the cover on it when I'm not driving it!! I wish I had a garage to park in!!!LOLOLOL I think I remember hearing somebody at one time now that I think of it. Say something about microfiber towels to clean windows!! I Think it was somewhere in the forums!!!

One of the other culprits can be the headliner. Every car I've owned that had a vinyl headliner (read almost all hondas) fogged worse than those with a fabric headliner, as vinyl won't absorb the extra humidity like fabric will (but it won't sag a readily as fabric will

I've never had good luck with Rain-x. Not saying it doesn't work, just not for me, especially here in TN where 80+ percent humidity is normal.

The one thing I KNOW works is shaving cream. Yup, good ol' fashion $.79 / can white shaving cream (not the gel stuff). You can test it out in your bathroom even. Coat/wipe half of your mirror with the shaving cream (you don't need a lot) and leave the other half not done. (It wipes off pretty easily, just a few extra paper towels or cloths) and then let the hot water run in the shower with the door closed. You'll see.

WARNING! - We all know shaving cream can cause discoloration so use with caution. You might have to put a towel on the dash or wherever to guard against drops.

Just another question... is it all your windows that fog or just certain ones/areas?

Definately not heater core issues if it's the rear window. I'd try the shaving cream to get them clean and fog free, then check with Home Depot or Lowes to find a desiccant. They make little tubs (about the size of margarine tubs) that are ment to help overly humid closets. You might want to get one to keep back there while the car is parked. Just be sure to remove it before driving cuz it does fill with water and you wouldn't want it to slosh.

If you're really adventurous you could buy some desiccant in bulk and make a fabric "pouch" to put it in. You could then reuse it by drying it out in the oven (the desiccant not the pouch). To the common person it'd just look like one of those air freshener pouches.

also if you're looking for any type of anti-fog solution...

dont use rain-x anti-fog
it didnt work for me.

rather try the anti-fog solutions that motorcyclists use on their visors.
i used a product like that for my paintball mask and it worked.

They make car covers with a breathable, yet water resistant fabric. It's not good to use one that is air tight...............

i have the same problem, ive tried a bunch of things and th best one to work was the mother detailing spray with a microfiber towel, but it came back a few weeks later. . .

my brothers integra does it, and no leather.

but it sure does suck, has anyone thought about waxing their windows?

^its not the leather. . . my mothers toyota with vynl seats did it var worse than any leather car she had.

it appears its some kinda of chemical reaction in the glue thats used. on really hot days, the heat reacts and lets off that film stuff, vinegar and newspaper is probably the easiest way to get it off (at least, the dealership uses that method)

I think if your car was ever smoked in before, the shit stays in it forever. I quit 5 years ago, but the windows still end up like there's tar and nicotine on the insides, every few months!
