Personally I would be careful with polishing every single time you wax. Polish is an abrasive and essentially strips off the topmost few micrometers of paint. Claying before every wax is fine (a slight waste of time honestly) but I'd hold off on polish unless your car really needs to get rid of some scratches or you're about to prep for some serious showing off.

Joey of course can provide better information.

yea a representive at meguiars informed me about the samething with regards the polish. he said it best to use somethingg less abrassive like scratch X and that doesnt work then you can move up to something more abrassive.

Zymol, Nxt 2.0, etc

I used a clay bar on my car, then I used Nxt 2.0 on one side of the hood and Zymol on the other side. I kid you not, the Zymol took 10 minutes of intense microfiber rubbing to get off, the Nxt came right off... Difference, none that you would see. However, for about the same price, I would use the Nxt 2.0 as it only took a min or two to get off the 1/2 hood. On a clean car, you can do the whole car in minutes! No mess on plastic (not much anyway), works great on glass!

i second that vote

Ya surprisingly a good amount of people do. Basically thats what rainx is, its a glass wax of sort (though it can screw up your paint pretty good.)

The glass is still crystal clear like that? I like pristine glass.

Yep! Clear and clean, and easier to clean in the future. Like Smokin said, it is just like RainX! Oh, off topic, but ever try 0000 Steel Wool for cleaning glass? (outside) works like a charm too!

I will toss my vote on Meguiars NXT generation tech wax 2.0. I think this the best all around wax for anything. Been a detailer for 16+ years and use it on everything. Are there better niche waxes? Sure. But NXT just is the easiest best all around wax. Relentless beading of water. They weren't kidding. I also subscribe to the steel wool on your outside glass theory as well as waxing the glass after. Same as rain-x.

I personally think red is awesome if done tastefully. Just keep it protected with good wax immediately.
