I'm a little skeptical. Especially when I think about using this with my 70-300mm lens. Seems like random luck will still play a big roll in camera shake on photos. Still... this could counter the enormous weight my 70-300mm lens puts towards the front of the camera. Test it out and tell me how it goes. I'm not equipped to be Mr. Fix-it here at college.

sure, it works for action shots or quick shutter shots, but those arent usually the problem. the most common problem people have that their images are blurry are when they use a slower shutter speed to absorb more light in a dimly light scenery. my point and shoot has almost 0 blur when i take a quick shot or even a "back lit" shot (which is slightly slower shutter speed i believe). but when i take one with no flash on, i get blur like no other...

Thinking about this further though, there are very few times where I'm standing straight up. I'm almost always on one knee or at least slouched over. Still, I'm going to check if my tool box has the right size screw for this. Probably doesn't, but who the hell knows.
