New lens Version 5.3

Well as I continued to explore the relm of photography I ran across a new type of lens. One that has no focus ring, no apature diaphram, some really odd knobs, and an unlimited focal range.

The lens I found is called a LensBabie 3G.

If you want the Ultimate distortion with the complete control of the focal point this is the lens for you

hahah you welcome

you basically adjust the angle and distance that the lens is from the sensor. the nobs are for fine tunning your focus you also can put in different apature disks for a greater or lesser depth of field

its a minor adjustment of where you want the focal point to be lock it and take the shot

in photoshop you are still setting up the camera the apature focusing taking the shot then loading it opening photoshop selecting the tool and finally picking your focal point then adjusting the amount of blur

I also have a preferance to use the camera more then photoshop. I can do it in photoshop but its a challenge to get it write the first time

I'm all for getting the photo right at the shutter instead of post processing the hell out of it... but even I'm having a little trouble understanding why you picked this up. It doesn't look like you got anything in solid focus in these shots. No auto focus I guess? Thats tricky. How much of the frame can you set to be in focus?

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

there is no motor and no electronics in this its all manual you can see what you are doing in through the view finder so you are not totally lost. the max amount of focus in the frame is you can get in the first shot of the map.
