Picking up a new camera next week
Well as some of you know, my pics arnt that great and yes i know. Well i got a gift certificate from work for $200 bucks. add 150 and i get myself a nice camera.
I went shopping to staples (one store i could redeem that money) and found a nice Canon SX100IS for $299 + 2GB Card (20) + free delivery the next day. So i went to the store and got close and personal with the camera. I has....
It looks pretty sick to...   For a kid like me, it suits me fine. I love the shots, and i took a cupple at the store, it looks great. So next week im going to pick it up and start snapping away.

Nice pick. The only thing I'd be a little worried about is AA batteries. I had a bad experience with horrible battery life a long time ago, but all these years later, canon probably does it better and my concerns are probably unfounded. Is that considered "SLR like"?
