HDR = High Dynamic Range. Its a style of photography that blends different exposures of the same picture together to produce an image more realistic to what we see in real life and also show more definition.

The areas that would normally be all white, like the sky now have clouds, and the areas that would be all black, like in corners and alleys suddenly have depth and detail in them.
