Whoops

~Sigh~

First time I ever drop it and it shatters. There goes $75. Guess this is the poor build quality everyone commented on. Damn shame. This was my favorite lens.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

Damn. I was just bringing the camera down to charge the battery because I'm actually going to use it for the first time in a few weeks and this lens is around the neck strap. I just spent a couple weeks looking at my amazon cart not buying $40 worth of camera supplies because I don't have any money to throw around right now. Fuck.

If I were the ebay fiend that you were, I'd find a used mark 1 of this lens. Its the same lens but its better built and has a metal mount. I might try to get my hands on a mark 1. They're a bit more pricey than the mark II though.

I bought the Canon 50mm f1.2L lens. I hope it doesn't explode the first time it gets dropped. Actually I hope I never drop it. I am sure you could find a used 50 1.4 somewhere. What body are you using?
