presuming that you have taken your struts off the car, you will need a spring compressor to release them. DO NOT attempt it without a spring compressor. If you can't get one, take your struts to a shop where they can compress the springs for you and get them off.
 
If you don't know how, don't try this at home, alone!
Doing it improperly will cause serious damage, will hurt you, and may kill you... I'm not kidding.
This is one of those things where, if you've never done this before, it's better to, first, watch an experienced person do it and take notes.

PM was sent but did not receive any reply so figured all is well... as previously stated by legendvr and if you haven't done this type of service before, I too would strongly suggest to leave this alone for the pros.
