So here is my senario.....i try to be very detailed in the explainations that i give, and i try to give visuals, cause im a visual person, plus who doesnt like pictures. So here we go...

this is mr car...
Image

pretty aint it!

thanks to acc-unit i was able to find the car color i want which is the acura NSX midnight purple pearl. Here is his car, i dont think he'll mind me posting it...
Image

pretty amazing i must say!

Ofcourse i cant copy his car exactly i gotta throw my own twist into it..

first problem

Image

see what i enhanced?! what is that called?! whatever it is it needs to be gold not chrome, but i cant find any gold ones. Ive seen them on milano red legends sometimes, but now i cant seem to find any. Where should i go to get a gold trim?(is that what its called) and a gold "A" emblem? how would you make them "like new" if they are kinda used & grungy? is it even possible for the trim thing to be taken off and re-installed with another trim i kno it has to be of a another two door.

Second problem

Image

see these rims...i want them, but the smallest size they have is
20'' because there made for suv's :censored:. the biggest im willing to go is 18'' so i decided to look for the same style in 18''s and this is what i got...

Image

its not bad. I do like them, but im not sure if it would be "to busy" for my car. I still want to achieve a sleek look do you think it would still work?

FIRST i want to know if you guys think that if it was all put together would it look g0od. Be honest, this is my life right here.

SECOND i would like to know your ideas and suggestions if you have any..i read everything!

THIRD i would greatly appreciate it if you could help me find the solutions to my two major problems.

Thanks.

this is an edit

forget blingbling rims keep her stock lol....actually what u are brainstorming sounds nice but for a dark color car....idk i would have to see it....but the thought sounds right on with the gold trim and the rims to go along with it....if only they had all black and gold rims

I supose you could do chrome rims with a gold package, definetely not my style. If Honda manufactures the gold trim I'm sure it would be a small fortune. I would leave it chrome or just black out the trim. Your rim selection is nice definetely go with 18's.

Trim Ring

You could remove and get the trim ring painted gold, but it would look like shit. Its not such a great feature to highlight, which is why most people want to black it out.

Rims

They are very nice and I like them, they look like jewelry. However they will NOT make your car stealthy, it will stand out big time.

Lastly, you said you " want to know if you guys think that if it was all put together would it look g0od. Be honest, this is my life right here."
Don't be a drama queen. Its not you life and if it is, I feel very sorry for you. Get real and get a life ... it's a car, just an old Acura Legend ! :giggle:

Never, just the emblems. I'm sure there is a shop out there that does it though.
not likely the brite wrk around the windows has paint, rubber on the trimm rulling out electroplating. that trimm is craxyexpensive from the dealer and I can only think gold would be more but I have also never seen it.

other than that good luck with you project, sounds like you got a vision go with it.

I gotta go with Stu on this one.

The window trim isn't exactly one of the first things done to the car. Most people want to black them out or color match them to the car if there car isn't black.

Secondly, those rims say a lot of things and stealth isn't one of them.

For all the ones who dont believe that the gold exists here it is..... i looked foreva to find it for you guys to prove that it is possible ive seen it also on my friends legend (his is stock) this one isnt but it still is possible

by the way this car is ugly,
1. its a 4door.
2. the body kit sucks
3. the paint & rims are just WRONG! but at least it matches =/

I looked at the last rim you posted again and I have changed my mind.
I think its a VERY nice wheel and if I had a dark car I would consider it.
I think it would look great on your car, and someone here can PS for you.

I still hate the gold trim ring idea, but hey I have a few ( yes ONLY A FEW, i.e. 2 ) red reflective stickers under my rear bumper, so what do I know !

That gold window trim was never offered as an OEM option. Yer boi must have had that done custom. The wheels are way too bling & flashy. They might work on a 300C but not a 15 year old Legend. And yes, you can still get the emblems done in gold---real 24K gold:

Do us a favor and please keep the mods tasteful. Legends look best when the mods are understated and don't scream "Look at me! I'm an Attention Whore." Several of the best looking Coupes on here are bone stock but OCD clean. IMO, probably the best looking modded Coupes on here belong to mrkeith and Blackend and both of them are muy tasteful.

The color of your Coupe is great but I think chrome wheels would be overkill. Acc-unit's car is exactly what I mean when I say tastefully done---everything just flows together. Nothing on his car by itself makes you go, "Holy Shit!" but consider everything as a whole and the impression is, "That car is beautiful!"

Go for gunmetal or silver satin color wheels in a 17" or 18"---Rays, Volk Racing or SSR wheels are perfect. BTW, that trim you're talking about getting plated is impossible to reinstall once you take it off because the retaining clips break and Acura doesn't sell them separately.

First off that NSX color you like would never have been seen on an NSX with gold rims or gold window trim. Both of those ideas are horrible on a legend, maybe on a sedan it would look ok, but definitely not on a coupe. Don't do those mods to your car, they aren't stealthy, sorry...

Your car, your style, your choice. My opinion: Less is definitely more. Don't do the gold trim as it's a bit tacky. Those wheels are nice, but too "loud". With those wheels, it won't matter what you did with your car because nobody will pay attention to anything but the wheels. Try to keep things balanced and people will be able to better appreciate your car.
