ok first things first, anyone who thinks im wasting my money on a G1 dont say anything about this, cause i could really care less what you think. honestly keep your mouth shut!!!

Now, this winter, im baggin my legend, i got some sweet hook ups in canada, all canadian prices, im gonna do a billet grill, and possibly some projectors. IM GONNA BE HITTIN SWITCHES ALLLLLLLLLL DAY!!!!! im gonna get everything in january!! i cant wait

Projectors will serve no function in G1 headlights b/c the glass is fluted. That means that a projector behind the fluted glass will have an incorrect beam pattern. Hitting switches? Is that some type of slang? I didn't think billet grills or projectors were controlled by switches

matt, the projectors will be from a different car, probly an accord, and the switches thing i hope you are being sarcastic about that, if not switches are for the bags. not the headlights and grill

So you mean you are going to remove your current legend housings and installing the entire aftermarket projector accord housings in that space...? That should require modification to fit.

ya man, thats it, most of us on here do modifications, thats the whole point, i dont want my car to look like every other g1 sedan, does anyone think it does right now?? if it does i gotta get my a$$ in gear and get some more mods

Seeing as he started the thread off in a threatening way someone must have bashed him earlier. It wasn't me, nor have I bashed any of the future mods he has stated.

All I am doing is trying to give him advice and realities about the projector mods b/c I am experienced in this area. Thankyou.

no one bashed me, ive read other posts when people say they are gonna do something to their car, and theres always someone who doesnt think its a good idea and posts something about it, and if someone wants to tell me i shouldnt do it i dont want to hear it cause im not going to listen to them anyway, you assume things way too much, im not stupid i know that the projectors arent gonna bolt right in, if they did they would be made for a legend!! ive put other things on my car that are from something else, but im not gonna say what because i dont want other people doing the same thing. where have you seen billet grills for legends?? thats gonna take modification too cause the one i got is from a truck.

now now guys! If somebody wanted there legend to look a certain ways just let it be. That's what makes this forum so interesting. Slammedlegend the project that you are about to do will surely take some skills but not impossible. I do encourage to pursue it. It should be a lot of fun.:2cool:

Slammedlegend, I understand the money deal. When I wasn't in school and had some money, peopl always told me I wasted money modding a neon, saying I should have chosen a more expensive car. why? would I choose to modify a more expensive car when every mod you do ussually lowers the cars value unless you find the right buyer? That would be just throwing money down the drain. when I was done my neon ran a 12.9 1/4 mile without nitro and it was street legal and all designed by me with no kits or instructions plus I programmed the fuel maps as well. So go for it and prove someone wrong

be careful with the unibody and airbags, you may want to patch up the underbody with some steel, just my 2 cents

sounds like fun slammedlegend, i am a big believer in trying something new and different. i have so many parts on my car that don't belong, but they work and sometimes even better than stock or acura made. so go for it dude....i am currently working on a totally different mod right now which i will share with the rest of the board after the complete build up and trial run....just think a type II transplant in a G1 body....hhhhmmmmm
