OK, we can get lower tie bars made for the Legend. They will be done by the same shop that built the MLS strut tower bars.

They will be powder coated, twin tubular steel rods. They will not be polished as they will be made of steel, and as such will rust. Best bet for strength, and performance is to have them powder coated. Besides, it would be difficult to see the tie bars under our cars; especially if we're lowered.

We have no pictures of it as none have yet been built. The bars will be built off of my car, so will be built all at once when I drop my car off with them.

The pricing will be as follows:

1 - 20 orders = $225 shipped.

21 - up = $175 shipped.

We'd like to know who and how many are interested in this so that we can get this ball rolling.

Id love to have one, however i just spent 250 on a TB and 225 is way to expensive for a tie bar at this time. maybe in a while for me, unless the price comes way down.

I'm interested in one of these, but I just dont have the money right now. X-Mas is comming up and I gotta buy presents for people. :(

I do have one question though...

Will the bar work on the front AND rear?

Also, I also hope the power coating process is a little better this time and doesnt warp the bars. :D

Powdercoated what color? Black or red would be best for me.

Anyway, let me know when you guys start to produce them, and I'll get a set. This is for just the rear, right?

uhhhh Im interested, but whats a tie bar?
You know where the control arms bolt up to the frame? A tie bar bolts onto both of those two points to stiffen it up... its basically like a strut bar that goes underneath the car (and doesnt bolt directly to the struts).

Get it?

If these are going to be similar to the DC Sports tie bar that ChrisK has, I'm very definitely interested although $225 is steep---the DC bar is around $145. If it's a different design, I want to see pics b4 I commit to anything. Later---

:werd:

That was my only gripe.

They will be of a different design than the DC tie bar. This is because CNC programming itself will cost a ton of cash, then the cost of materials and production is added. Not really cost effective for small runs like these. In fact, with a population like ours, it would be close to impossible to recoup the cost of the programming, let alone the rest of the cost.

Unfortunately, getting to DC prices would be difficult because of the volume involved.

If we can rally together for 20+ orders, we can get closer to it.

As for building them for coupes, yes, that's our intentention. We will check for specs, and fitment to be certain before actual production.

I understand totally. I'm still interested but the timing for this is not real good for me because of the upcoming holidays. I do think this is something that will fly after that, though. What's the possibility of getting a sketch or pic of the prototype, if there is one? Thanks---

Yeah, I fully understand the holiday issue. No problem, we can push it till after. In the mean time, we'll try to get one built or something.

Please keep the posts/poll coming so that we get an idea of the number who are seriously interested in getting this done.
