OK, I lowered my Legend the other day, like 1/4/03 and I really dont see that big of a difference from were it was. I put on some suspension techniques. it gave a 1.5 drop ((by the way, how long before they settle??)) well, after installation, I noticed that one side is alittle higher than the other in the front. I didnt cut my bump stops either.

so what do I do.

A)-- get another set of springs

or

B)--Cut half the bump stop on the side thats higher to make it close to even.

I choose B. any suggestions??

ya I got one idea .. how about you wait like 30 days or 5000 miles (which ever comes first) then decide what to do

it is the winter and they might be a little harder to settle in colder temps.

that's my idea .. but (b) sounds good after they settle ..

Wait a while for them to settle.

Cutting the bump stops won't do anything for the static height. It gets you a little more suspension travel at full compression (ie: you're less likely to bottom the suspension on big dips on the road.)

I would cut the bump stops if you have a bottoming issue, otherwise leave it so you don't have to disassemble the suspension.

I should have cut my bump stops on my Civic when I lowered it, but I followed the Eibach instructions NOT to cut them (they were Prokit springs), and ended up bottoming on large dips. Rather than disassembling everything, I just cranked up my Illuminas a notch. Wife hates it now, because then ride is so damn stiff.

Sounds like a plan

I havent been bottoming , though I did'nt cut them, but that one side aahhh. you probably wouldnt notice it but I do.

is the passenger side a little higher than the drivers? that's how our car wasa designed, at least the G2's probably first too though. this become more noticeable after dropping the height. also give the springs about a month to settle in. i didn't notice too much and it took even longer but after like 2 0r 3 it was even lower.
