Glad to join the forum... been trying to buy this Legend from my friends mom for years now... It's a 1994 Legend GS 4dr with a manual 6 with 182K miles... Had it for a week now and love it! It will be getting a few things soon... It's had 2 timing belts/chains but is ready for another for I can hear it when you start it... sensor for the mph guage... (goes out every once and awhile), a blower for the AC/Heat... (it goes out every once and awhile as well), and will be replacing the head unit with a Pioneer SPH-DA210 AppRadio 3, re wiring for speakers, and installing a never used 5 channel Soundstream USA 305 Amplifier... Not sure that the Focal seperates and 5x7 mb quart that I have are going to fit... May have to get something else...

I bought some TL wheels for it but the garage I took it to so I could have them installed and balanced, said they wouldn't fit over the spindles. I've seen pics on here of Legend's with TL wheels... dunno... I searched for a thread but didn't find one that pertained to it... prolly will start one to see if I can get some info from some of the helpful folk on this forum...

by the way, my name is Jimmy...

oh, how are pics posted?

Welcome fello TN gs 6 speed owner. You need to have the center hubs bored out to 70.1 mm to get the rims to fit. You have to get your post count up b4 you can post pics.

No problem that's what we here for. I was a noob one time and I've never forgot that.

After seeing your car in a separate thread Jimmy, why would you want to replace the beautiful GS OEM wheels with anything else?
I agree. Leave that Legend unmolested. Fix what's broken and enjoy a nice ride.
The more you mod it, the less desirable it becomes for any resale in the future.
Not to mention, that you will never get back the money you spent to mod it. 6 spd. GS's in excellent, original condition are rare to find.

I may switch them back if I don't like em... The tl wheels are in really great shape and have good tires on them... the finish on the GS wheels are coming off and tires have little tread... I will keep the GS wheels... I agree stock is best for re sale... When I decide to let it go, I'll definitely switch the wheels out!
Head unit shot, amp shot, and I believe the speakers are wore out... so I'll be replacing them... I already had some replacement speakers and a nice amp but I had to buy am head unit for they are 4 ohm speakers...

How do 4 ohm speakers sound with a 2 ohm signal... I'm talking out my ass a bit for I'm not sure of the difference... I thought you use a 2 ohm signal when running multiple speakers through the same channel... dunno

I have after market rims on my legends and custom interior on some of them. So it's your car do it your way. Stock or custom you will not get the money you put in it back out.
