Just out of curiosity, how far is Newport from NYC?...I might try it... If not I'll just wait for you guys to do something in the summer. That is if I still have this car by then.

with traffic (weekends) - 3 1/2 - 4 hrs

without traffic - 2 1/2 - 3 hrs

The most traffic will be through connecticut.
