ok fellas,
weather's gettin good. time to come on out for the first meet. It will be held at jones beach. the question now is the date. vote for the dates and we'll announce it next friday.

Ok, here goes with my same retorical response for the last 5 car meets.

If my Legend is running, I will show up. Except on May 31st. I will be at the Carlisle All-Ford show with my Mustang.

My Legend _SHOULD_ be running by this weekend actually...

need a shop that can fix fiberglass body kit

I was thinking of just ordering a new bumper, but I think it would cost 2x to paint it and and redo all the mesh work onto my bumper.. the one I have on the car has a corner broken off (mom was driving the ricer legend and she said the car bottom-out).

Anyways, is there anyone out here in MD Rockville that can do some painting and fix some fiberglass for under $200??

www.importfan.com is selling G2 legend body kits for under $500 for the whole kit. (this includes EXCLUSIVE body kit that use to be $2700)

If I can get my bumper fixed and my neon switch fixed, I'll be going.

MAY 31ST..THATS A LONNNNG TIME AWAY. THE WEATHER IS ALREADY IN THE 60'S . MAYBE WE CAN DO THIS A LITTLE EALIER?
I'M TRYING TO SELL MY LEGEND AND WOULD LOVE TO MAKE IT TO ONE MORE MEET BEFORE I GET RID OF IT..IS ANYONE ELSE INTERSTED IN MAKING IT A LITTLE EARLIER?

may31st is good for me because we are all done with the final and i will be done with the engine by that time hopefully..

Good luck in our area Keefe.

I can recommend Tony's Auto Body on Chapman (by the Twinbrook Metro) for repairs and "standard" paint work. But I don't think he could do it for under $200. I've used him 5 times in the past with good results.

For custom work (and not cheap) Randy Kurz in G'burg. Come to the IX BBQ and see what he did to my car last year.:D
