Hey guys. I went with my girlfriend to the Autoshow at the Javits center yesterday (Monday 04/12/04). Took many shots of the new RL.

This thing looks REALLY awesome in person. My jaw dropped when I saw it. Everything is PERFECT. I feel only the rear leaves a little to be desired. The dual tail pipes look so badass on it... 6 piston calipers bearing the name ACURA across them... sweetness :)

These are coming from my DSL modem. So I will only post a few and the links to the others. If someone wants to grab them from me and host them elsewhere, by all means, go ahead. Also I can e-mail larger versions. 128kbps uplink sucks for this kinda stuff.

The 2005 Acura Legend (It really should have the Legend name back. If I ever buy one, I am slapping a Legend badge on it)

Still, a fine ass:

I love that car . I especially liked the side view...of your cats!:giggle: Just kidding, those are some awesome pictures though. It definately looks better than the other pics I've seen of it.

did you get to seat in it and pretend you are driving? :D
Unfortunatly not :( The car was on a rotating platform. Most of the Acuras were closed off. :( Acura had a nice display, unfortunantly they got stuffed in the far corner between BMW and Dodge.

Oops.. heh... I fixed that link above :) Sorry about that.

Thanks for the pics Nick.

This thing looks a lot bigger in the pics that you took.

I wanted it to have the size of an Audi A8, would you see it does have this size or is close to it?

I think the wheelbase on this car is more than people realize, making it longer than expected. I love the somewhat long, low, and wide stance that the g2 Legend has and I'm excited about this RL.

Matt, strangely, from the sources that I've read, I'm getting two different ideas about the length. One says that it's "not much bigger" than the current model; inferring that it's longer, though not by much. Another article I read says that it's actually shorter than the current model.

I read some where that the length of the new RL is 193.5 inches which is 3 inches shorter than the '04RL. The wheel base I believe is 110 inches long.

Again, I'm not sure if these are the real dimensions.

p.s. Great pictures Nick!

That car must be huge because those 20" rims don't look oversized at all.

Most people that upgrade rims, upgrade the size. That means this car can upgrade to 22" or up!!

It's amazing how stock wheels are getting larger and larger~!!

Remember back in the days when 16"s were the sh!t???

NickD, nice work - best photos yet - you should post them on VTEC.net or if you want I'll post the link to our website/thread.

I think it looks better in person than in the marketing photos. Those photos lack perspective, and it was the same with the TL - much better with the real deal.
