Recently, I park my car on my college. After I'm went out to my car, I found out that some jerk stole the red light cover off my '92 Acura Legend Coupe. I tried to find that part online, but no luck since I don't know what it's called. So let me describe it:

It's on the driver's side, there is a long red light located under the place where you put gasoline for your car. He stole that red light cover only (on the driver's side), not the light bulb. So anyone know what part is it called? Any anywhere I can buy to cover the light bulb?

Sorry, I"m very bad at telling car's parts. So please, I'm desperate of your help. I have to use paper to cover up that place for temperary.

LT rear side marker lamp assy P/N 33850-SP1-A01 applicable for 1991-92 used to retail for $32.56.

Hi guys, thanks for the fast replies!

I don't know, my neighboor tell me to snatch one off from a Legend if I see one :D However, that is pretty wrong. So far in my school, I only notice there are like 1~2 Legend Coupe that is the same model as my car. And one of that Legend owned by this dude, he does not looks like a good guy at all. Maybe it's a good idea to snatch one from him? It might be 50/50 chance that he is the dude who stole my rear side marker.

I don't know, but that rear side marker is pretty expensive to me if buy. Any more suggestion?

Not from mine, buddy :2cool:

Really, look up for local junkyards in the yellow pages. I think there'r some on oakland rd, off 101 hw. It did help when I got my driver side mirror for another 10 yrs old car. 1/2 the price of the dealer. Give them a call to see if they have your car/part

isnt' the prelude or acccord one supposed to fit pretty well?
i dont' own a coupe so i don't really know

but the aftermarket clear ones for preludes are a lot cheaper. maybe spray it w/ clear red, orange, or smoke if u don't like it clear

i don't really know, i just thought those were supposed ot be almost the same

Thanks for the input. There is one junkyard where they sell old car parts for cheap. I still haven't check them out yet though. But damn, don't you hate when people steal your stuff? If they lost one, why don't they go buy it off somewhere instead. I wish that one day I found out whoever stole my Legend stuff... =(

Returner-wasn't your first response to clip one from someone else? So, maybe that's what this guys first impulse was too.....to steal it from someone else...it looks like he just acted on his, and you talked out your frustration with us on this site. We all would like to think that Legend owner's are a special group who would help each other, not try to steal from another, so I'm glad you didn't act on your "dark side". It's just not worth it.

No, if I want to snatch one off, I would do it like 1~2 weeks ago already, and I don't have to come here asking for the part. I'm here asking the place to buy it.... =P

Stealing is just wrong. I do know that either one of that 2 other Legend's owner in my school stole it from me.

I hate when people complain about the expensive parts for the Legend.
I agree with you on that one. Acura Legends were anywhere between $40K and $50K new. Expect high prices on parts for an expensive car. The more expensive the car, the higher the prices and trust me, those parts are expensive for 2 reasons, they are good quality, and your paying to have a part that if you look closely says ACURA on it.
