Alright guys I'm not an attention whore, but I just made some serious changes to my ride, and I'd like to know what people thought about them.

Here is what my ride looked like before:

And here is what it looks like now:

I was scared of getting rid of the chrome rims because the black and chrome looks sooooo good on the Legend. But the black on black on black is not something that you see everyday. I also had a JDM Type II engine installed, and I know the badge on the intake manifold is missing, but the mechanic said he had to use my Type I intake manifold because the sensors on the other one did not match up. I know the heads on the Type II are different, but does anyone think I will have problems with using the Type I manifold? It does run strong but I tried to top it out the other day and I could only get about 122. So hopefully there's nothing wrong. Anyway I hope you guys like my new look, but leave me some feedback either way because I'm still open for ideas. Thanks!

I dig the new rims for obvious reasons ;P
Nice coupe!

Please fix your lug nut situation; that's dangerous!
In fact, don't drive until you've put the 5th lug on there.

but, reroute amp wire!! through firewall.

and please put the type2 manifold on.

Take it to someone who knows how to properly install the TypeII. 122? That's way too low top speed, even for a TypeI...trust me. I wouldn't say it's a "problem" i doubt you'll go that fast often, but normal? No.
My Legend was near ~115 or so when it topped in 3rd. Well it actually said slightly higher on the speedo but i'm guessing it was more like 115, since the 3rd gear limit on a TypeII Auto should be around ~96mph. That's before the auto went into 4th. Ages ago....on the GS Sedan.

I like the rims, overall looking nice.

sweet rims dude. if i had a black car, i'd really consider getting those.

if you have some left over money. your next two mods should be

new preferated leather
and a 94/95 front bumper.

your car would look really sweet then

I've really been considering doing the 94/95 bumper and truck with the built in brake light. But the next two mods I want to do will be the Koni Red Shocks and Ground control coilovers, and a custom dual exhaust with Remus Turbo mufflers at each end, hopefully followed shortly by a DV8ed downpipe and highflow cat. Somewhere in there will also come the Brembo Rotors and AXXIS Ultimate ceramic pads with Comptech stainless steel brake lines, because as Ack-Crawler once told me, "If you're gonna go fast, you need to be able to stop fast too."

Maybe you already know this, but the dual exhaust is mostly pointless from
a performance standpoint on a Legend.

I think it looks fresh, though. I'd totally rock it if I was going for that look.

Nice wheels ;)

The black centers look MUCH better on a black car (especially yours) than the chrome.

NICE!

Man you guys don't miss anything! The actual lug bolt is stripped so I can't put a nut on it. It was like that when I bought the car and I havent lost a wheel yet so I think I'll be good. For safety's sake, its on the back wheel so there's less stress on it.

If you can tell me where the hole in the firewall is, and how you get to it then I'll gladly do that! My neighbors and I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to get that thing through the firewall, but one of them had an idea to run it up the doorsill and through the fender instead. It still looks good and you can't tell unless you're looking very hard (like you guys normally do!). But I just didnt want to drill a hole in the dark abyss behind my engine and end up messing something up. I'm still doing research on the manifold situation, but I might go back to my mechanic and get the JDM one from him just in case.

I know they won't help much on performance, but I'm going for that factory '99-'03 TL look and since the mufflers are black with chrome tips, then I think it will work.

nice ride, I like that black/chrome lip...... how bout putting some clear corners and bumper lights........what did you do with the chrome rims? are they for sale?
I was think about doing the Euro corners and bumper lights, but so many people have clear around here, I though it may be different to keep the factory orange! Maybe I'll say they are JDM custom American lights. As for the rims, they're not for sale, yet. They are in kinda bad shape and even though they all hold air, a couple are kind of bent up. Also one doesn't match the set because I bent the original one where it didn't hold air anymore and it costs about $400 to replace it so I got one that was kinda similiar from Discount tire. They are expensive rims (MAS Italy) but when I do let them go I probably ask $250 or less for the set.

are those OEM fogs?
They were OEM fogs until one day on the highway I was driving behind a Toyota Highlander that ran over a piece of tire which hit the front of my car and demolished one of the factory foglights. I bought some new ones off ebay and I was able to mount them in the same location. I spliced them into the factory wiring so I can still use the factory foglamp switch.
