Personally I would go with the 2 12" w-3's because they are awesome subs that are almost indestructable... In addition to the pure quality of them you can get to for less than half the price of the 1 10 w-7.... ALSO, JL recommends using AT LEAST 1 JL 1000/1 amp per 10 w-7 used and they aren't even out yet....
I mean i dont know about you all but I would much rather get 2 12's and 500/1 for $700 tops then ONE 10 w-7 thats gonna be underpowered and an amp for $1200
Ok or lets look at it like this.... I currently have....
MB Quart 6.5 coaxials w/ MUSiCOMP crossovers and tweets
Polk Audio db9 6x9's
Rockford Fosgate 8's
Kicker Impulse IX402
I want to get rid of the 8's and the Impulse amp... and get something to better match the Quarts and the Polks. I really like the JL 500/1 Amp it has lots of features and i can get it for under 400$. What do you guys suggest?
