Anyone running 19x8.5 rims on the forum? (Sedan owners preferred.) What offset are/were your rims and what size tires? I am thinking of going from 18's to 19's. Thanks! Pictures would be greatly appreciated too!

Finally someone decides to let them hang. Going to be a little tricky. I ran a 19X8 +45 offset w/ 225/35/19 This worked fine upfront w/ about 2 degrees of negative camber. (corrected toe to factory specs) Rears I rolled the fenders and ran 1.2 degrees of negative camber.

Ide say keep the offset about +45 to +50 . Max sidewall will prob be a 35 series. 235 will be the max width. You could run a smaller diameter tire for more clerance ie. 215. If I ever get another Legend or RL I'll be doing 18X9's all around....

This is a Coupe though.... (isn't wheelbase diff. from coupe vs. sedan?)

Good question JTYanksFan. I'm also wondering the same question. 19X8.5 is the smallest size of the wheels i'm interested in, so curious. Mostly of offsets.

I think I may have found the answer from a previous thread to my question! Best of all, the owner of the car has a GS just like me! A direct quote from Fut!

Actually my rims (two sets of BBS RSIIs, one set chrome the other silver w/polished lips) are 18x8.5 +48 offset. I'm rollin' on Eibach springs w/Koni shocks, no rubbing, no complaints, plenty of compliments. Check tha sig!!!

One...

Fut :2cool:
Here's the link to the thread of pics of his setup in 18". So yes, 19x8.5 will fit! (I hope!)

Hey Guys!

I read a lot about these rims & tires issue in this forum but all of 'em were with lowering!
My question is 19" x 8" wheels ( +45 offset) with 235/35/19 tires would fit on a sedan?!
Without lowering.
Wheels are ordered so I'm hoping that I don't have to sell them but the tire issue is still open since I don't have the rims yet!

Please help!

Any solution is helpful!

THX!
