I'm not really a fan of the spoilers, but I am in the process of finding the best place to have all the side skirts and rear skirt (is that what you'd call it :p) painted. I also have some one piece headlights in the future.

The only thing that has really been holding me up is having probelms with my car :(. Those suck, like right now I need get my antenna mast replaced (won't retract), new door lock acutuators, repaint my front skirt since it got scraped pretty bad on a curb. Then the latest is that my car is making a real wierd noise when I turn to the right or if my car is idling at a wierd angle. It's like something is hitting the firewall, but I'll find out tomorrow when I get it up on a lift.

My goals for now are to have all these problems fixed by the end of February, lower my car by the end March, and having the painting stuff done by the time I get out of school for summer which will be like June. So I have a lot of stuff to get done, but after that it should get pretty simple. Cause those were my hugest goals when I got my Legend. After that its just little things, mostly interior, like changing the interior lights (thinking of going red, but haven't decided), new floor mats possibly, and maybe even new leather. At some point I'll also want to get a new Intake and Exhaust, but I'm pretty happy with the performance that I get out of my Legend for the time being :D

Hey

Looks like mine w/o rims and the painted front spoiler... Yeah thats what I want to do.. Paint the sideskirts and stuff, Trunk spolier, Rims mabey 18's but prob 17's (due to $$), New Leather, OEM real wood from LS, cd changer, tape deck (cause i'm old school), springs, shocks, one piece, PIAA fogs and 9006 and 9005 bulbs & Remus exaust and CAI.... I'm done...

BTW, what size and offset are your rims... What brand tyres... Your car looks lowered..

Yeah they are 17" rims, I got them about a month and a half ago, but because of choice, I kinda had to since I bent my other ones :p. Anyways, I don't think the spoiler looks that good, but just my oppinion, and my advice to everybody is screw the PIAA's, they can't touch HID's. It's not worth the money because even if you get the ones that really look like HID's (i.e Super Plasmas) they aren't nearly as bright and they burn out after like 6 months sometimes. Hardly worth $100, when you consider that I bought my real HID's for like $250.

UPDATE: My bad Thai, I forgot to finish saying that my wheels are ADR GT-Sports with 48mm offset. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sports.

Well, the person who is really doing the best conversion is whelan, he's doing the BMW X5 projector, going all the way. Once he does that I may have to make some mods to my set up to keep up with him ;).

If you wanna know about mine though. It's Sylvania 4100k D2S bulbs with Hella ballasts. They fit perfectly into our 9006 housing. The beam pattern may be a little messed up, but it's way brighter and easier to see than halogens :D, and contrary to what some people may try to tell you I don't think that its really any more blinding than any projectors. I haven't had anyone flash me yet or anything. I'll post some pictures above and edit my original post.

I just ordered all this stuff below, should have an update soon when I get all of it installed:

Koni Shocks
Eibach Springs
Ingalls 3572 Camber Kit
Weapon-R Dragon Intake
Weapon-R Ram Air Kit w/ Shield
New Axles (not by choice :p)

I need to quit spending so much money :D. Next in line is to repaint the front of my car (to many rock chips), sideskirts, mirrors, rear bumper, and possibly the side bumpers depending on how hard it seems like it will be. I just want to get the parts that are having problems looking like new again. Then after that I'm going to get a Greddy SP Exhaust (I can't wait for this one :). I really just want to get the paint done though. After that stuff, I'm going to start working on the interior for a while. Still lots in store.

Hey Speed

Niiiiceeee, I love that drop. Question how is that paint holding up on that front bumper and rear skirt. And why didn't you get it all done at once, sides, front bumper, and rear skirt. I'm getting a lot of paint shop here telling me it WILL chip and do not do it.. What can you recommend for me if I choose to get mine painted. I want to do it bad, but the shop say no. That little rubber part under the door is hard to do they say, since it flexes.

I think you will really love it once you get your CAI/Exhaust and coilovers!

Oh yes indeed....more tweakables! ;)
Leon,

Ever considered getting yours done. Painted skirts and bumpers I mean. If so, what kind of feed back have you gotten back from body shops?

It's kinda a long story, but last summer a friend backed into me, so I had to have my bumper repainted, so I decided to do the front part. Then this year I have Auto Body at my school, and my teacher told me if I wanted to start painting that I should pick one panel to start with, and go from there. So I chose my rear bumper since it was really fading pink (I have no idea why the rest of my car was). Maybe the guy before me got in an accident in the car, and had it repainted with some bad paint, there were also some chips in it too, which I put bondo to cover. The result looks 100% professional, and I'll be doing the rest of the side skirts sometime this month. BTW, the paint doesn't come off, the stock 94/95 LS's came stock painted, and I have had my front bumper for almost a year now and it is fine (except for the curb that I hit and scraped some off :() It looks a lot better with them painted though. Just look at the first pic from when I first got the car, and you'll really see what I mean.

Any negative feedback on painting your lower, rear, and front skirts. Pant shops here keep telling that that is almost impossible to paint due to the fact that it is a special and paint doesn't stick to it. Also, the armorol/ formula 2001 that used on it will make it harder to paint. What do you think about those comments?

That's BS. As long as it's sanded smooth the paint will stick. If you are really concerned then just prime it first (that is a good idea anyways, cause black is hard to paint and you will end up wasting paint due to requiring so many layers. Later.

I just updated this post for like the 6th time again, and now this is evidence that if done right you can paint the sideskirts.

Mods for this summer are (in order):
Tint Windows
Greddy SP Exhaust
Bayou/Dinan Stage II ECU
Radar detector (if you're gonna have the go you need the detector, right ;))

Then once I get back to school next fall I'm gonna repaint the front end due to rock chips and fading. Depending on how much money I have then I'll also get some new leather and floor mats :).
