1st step - Hey guy, finally got my leather installed today, below is the BEFORE pics.

AFTER

2nd step - Got the system completely rewired with monster cables, new alpine deck and Alpine speakers. It sounds nice.

Below is the current color of my car. I am going to begin paint work tommorow, now here is the dilema and where I need your help. I am torn between Milano Red and Metallic Black. Its driving me nuts trying to choose one. Please help me decide. Also is there a huge difference between highend PPG and Dupont chromabase paint? besides $60 more a gallon for Dupont.

Paint Job in progress

Okay so today me and my buddy began the repaint. We have turned his garage into a pretty good looking paint booth. We really never imagined it looking this nice, but with a little creativity, voila! I will post pics of the progress often. Tell me what you think?

keep it green

Interior looks good, but as far as painting goes, keep it green! I love Canterbury Green (I have one) and I think its a great color. Plus, it would be a pain to change the color of the car...you would have to repaint everything from the door sills to the engine bay to make it all match. I am very partial to Canterbury Green so this is just my pesonal opinion. Your car is looking great, I really like that leather.

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice, I like the color also but have always wanted a black or red legend. But I will really consider keeping this color to save a lot of work.

oh man. red and black. black looks damn nice when its glossy and has depth. but red looks amazing also.

dark green? :D
Lol, Please dont add another color into the mix, my 95ls sedan is dark green also. Now you see my dilema. Also need to decide on Rims, 17's or 18's and which ones? Any suggestions anyone?

id say keep that color...Canterberry Green is rare as hell on a coupe...theres not many of them out there :D
I am def thinking about it, I would make things a lot easier. So r u saying you like canterberry better then Red or Black or just would like to see a fixed up C green coupe. I am re-painting regardless, wonder how it would look with its color refreshed.

Now would polished alum, hyper silver or Chrome rims look best with C Green?

masking off the door jams and engine will be a pain.

If that was my car... i'd slam it, paint the moldings and buy some 1 piece headlights. The paint is a hot color. Maybe a little claybar and buffing action will change your mind about the color :)

Hot new leather btw.

id say keep it Canterbury Green not only because i like the color better, but because youd be different...everybody and their mother with a coupe here wants it in red or black. Theres only maybe one or 2 people here that i personally know of that have coupes in that color.

And im a chrome kinda guy...not everybody is gonna give you the same answer, so id just say go with whatever you like the most.

I like the canterbury green also. I say keep it. If you want a red or black, you'll probably save yourself a bunch of money by selling this one and buying the color you want.

As for wheel color, my preference would be silver on that car.

Wow, I really never thought I would get a responce like this to keep the green. There is a lot of oxidation on the trunk and the roof, so I need to repaint anyway. I guess I am pretty convinced to keep this color now, its starting to grow on me. Just need to find the right rims, I think hyper silver would be more appropriate for this color. I am thinking about the Enkei LM1.

Here is the Chrome

Here is the Silver

Thoughts?

I like the green also, if you have to change it, I would go milano red. The leather looks great, how is the fit though? it looks a little loose, but im guessing its because its new leather.
I like the chrome rims myself, most will tell you silver.

Thanks man, I had the guys from leatherseats.com install it, they did an amazing job with the install. I think it will fix itself in a few days or so.
